  • My pi3+ has been running for 8+ years on the same card. I ran out of processing and ram before the sd gave out. I only buy top-notch a2 cards.

    I just upgraded to a pi5. To handle all of the integrations and devices I've added over the years. Still plan to stay on the sd until the price of other options comes down again.

  • Cinema has it's own symbolic language. As does music, dance, painting, etc. They are all different languages with different capabilities. Translation from book to movie is always incomplete, just as The Divine Comedy does not move into English without significant compromise. Adaptation is the best to hope for. And even that is often too difficult to accomplish well.

  • I would use total defense and tie up the most dangerous thug while the rest of the party picked off the lesser threats. Most of the time I'd never get hit at all. Then once they finished them off after a few rounds I'd step back and let them pound away while I did the real clericing.
