I have commited the Num-Code for ™ to muscle memory.

Other interests include bicycles, bread making and DIY. I do own a 3D-printer and adore the Nintendo 3ds.

  • With tensions between them being at an all time low and presenting as united to the outside being more important than ever, do you think it will be returned to Rome anytime soon?

  • A lot of them, yes. Murder mysteries tend to have some murder victims in them, in Danganronpa it just happens to be the supporting cast.

  • Last song of the day, stop me if you heard this one before: it's time for the

  • But but but! They don't deserve to make money from that, it would be better if we got to do the money making! So please, subsidise our energy consumption like hell so that we may compete with them on fair terms.

Also, don't try to lower our electricity costs naturally by building more renewables, our shareholders still have stocks in coal so we can't switch to electric furnaces.

  • Out with the old, in with the new?

  • In order of the FMK game, I assume?

  • Only tangentially related, but when else will this be relevant?

I don't know why siivagunner was obsessed with itsy bitsy spider covers for a few days, but I can appreciate the art of this... thing.

  • Sometimes it is because you are just not visiting a real farmers market...

and sometimes it's because farming in the area hasn't been competitive in decades, and cannot keep up with imports even if they cut out middle men and even if they get subsidised like hell, making you wish the government would just rip the band aid of instead of tying up workers in this industry without a future for another decade, food security my ass, what's the point of that if we aren't feeding people at all and instead turning perfectly good vegetables into bio-fuel since energy companies pay more for them then our starving population can?

  • Whoville celebrating a holiday of cheer in winter, where they decorate everything in colourful lights and give presents means they have a winter season.

Celebrating "Christmas" as they call it, or "Christ's mass" unabbreviated, probably means both "Christ" and "mass" means something to them. Of course one would reasonably assume Christianity exists then.

They could be celebrating the massiveness of someone who coincidentally has the same name, sure, but if no Christ exists in this universe, the person who translated it from Who-ish to English and called the festival "Christmas" instead of "Whonukkah" messed up badly.

  • Either that or the Portuguese discovered/conquered/colonized them in the 16th century and the population was catholicized by Jesuit missionaries. While they clearly redefined their own culture to be something unique after indepence, their former faiths have been forgotten, even by them.

Whothulhu will rise just the same.

  • Funerals are for the living, not the dead. Grieving family members care about the person as a dad, brother or son, not as the hollywood record breaking super scientist.

  • We all know privacy is purple, we just can't agree on the exact shade.
