Not an answer but another idea for jogging your memory. I don't know what PC magazines were popular in Germany, uhh well ever, but it's not too hard to find archived copies of popular magazines here in the US from that time.
Here is a random copy of PC Magazine from some month in 2006.I didn't see any PCs that matched your rendering, but there was an Acer Aspire that I had completely forgotten about.
Your second point is specifically the reason I don't pay for Premium. I would actually really like to but unless there is some kind of guarantee they won't be double dipping, I'm not going to.
In a weird way autism may have partly spared me from a lot of mental trauma and issues. Growing up I went through a lot of things that tends to people having a lot of self doubt, anxiety, people pleasing tendencies, etc. I knew from a very young age though (maybe not as concretely as I do now) that what was happening to me wasn't my fault. Like sure I knew I was a kid and that certain things about me were difficult, but it was very clear to me when the things adults did made no sense or were hypocritical. That's not to say I didn't end up with other issues like poor social skills, but that still seems a lot better than the previously mentioned options.
Also, I'm still wanting to know when I get all the taxes I paid back since we apparently aren't ever supposed to be paying taxes.
Have a look at Heliboard. It's open source. To get swipe you have to import a component that is extracted from GBoard that doesn't come with the app, but it can be acquired from... places.
I have always been baffled by the aesthetics argument. There is anther city I sometimes visit and the best part of the drive is this stretch of highway that goes on for several miles where you are flanked by windmills. There are hundreds in total and to me they are borderline awe inspiring. Absolutely gorgeous.
I'm sure you will be keeping me good company. The gains that the PVV and other right wing groups have made aren't unique or a fluke. They are following the same playbook. Danger might be closer than you think.
This is one of the actually decent uses of this model. I have used Whisper to transcribe to phone calls, and just the other week I had to export the audio from a video I was working on to run whisper to get subtitles for the video. It's still not a set it and forget it solution, but correcting it's small mistakes here and there is so much faster than manually transcribing the audio.
Given how modular ffmpeg is with the way the switches work a user never has to interact with that portion of the application. I can technically use ffmpeg to trsnscode an mp3 without ever using the video components.
We could just tax the rich...
