My thinking was, from Russia’s view this is primarily a defensive war to prevent NATO encirclement, it’s not an imperialist expansionist war. The thing that will prevent them from further conflicts is to stop trying to encircle them with NATO. Which we know won’t happen.
Whatever and however Ukraine ends up, Europe and America will continue to fund conflicts while pinning the blame entirely on Russia to further their own imperialist ambitions of dominating Russia, and Europe will happily fall in step.
I think it's unexamined ideology. there's a project to indoctrinate us to not have empathy for humans in distress, to see their circumstances, generally, as a product of their choices.
guarantee most people who wanted to save this dog and ignores the human passively assumed this guy could "take care of himself" in a way they felt the dog could not.
Yup. It’s rationalized (if at all) as “this person is in this situation because of their choices and they can choose something else” vs “this poor dog didn’t choose to be here we need to rescue it”
It’s cozy DS1 run time, I got the non-remaster version set up on my steam deck with DSFix installed, locked to 30fps. Gonna be a SL1 run with the default pyromancer equipment, I’ve never used the hand axe before so it should be a good nostalgic time.
Seems like they’re paying to have their imaginary friends legitimized. Then it’s not “childish” it’s just the future
