  • That's not really what this article is saying though. It's saying that some employees feel like they've crossed a line when it comes to mass layoffs (including their own jobs, eventually) due to the tools they've developed.

TBF: I think the article headline is deliberately ambiguous. I thought the same thing as you until I dug into the article more.

    Eddie: fixed some typos.

  • What are you taking about. They include a little searchable database UI on that web page.

  • Well there goes the legacy of terrible haircuts. Three generations of shite hair down the drain!

  • So he won a made-up award about a made-up technology. Sounds about right.

  • The answer to "did [Trump sycophant] lie while under oath?" is always a resounding 'yes'.

They keep doing it because they don't think the rules apply to them, and because there are never any real repercussions.

  • Set it up as a PiHole.

Which reminds me: I need to finish getting mine hooked up to my LAN properly.

  • "B-but... Vaccines BAD! Vaccines give babby autism!"

  • I believe when you split them up like this (one piece per car) they are called sectionals. Or if you're JD Vance: sexualnals.

  • 🎶 my heart will go on! 🎶

Elderly Rose as she jumps off the ship: lol, not fucking likely!

  • Master and Commander

  • Stoat it is then.

  • 'Kid' Rock.

Holy shit, aging has hit him like a sledgehammer. The guy is apparently 55 but looks like he's 75. Is it weak genes? Is it poor lifestyle? Or is it from having a curdled and hate-filled soul? Maybe all three I guess. But regardless, bubba looks like he's about to head to the old folks home any day.

  • U good?

  • I agree with you on Biden's accomplishments (at least in the first half of his term - he kind of tailed off in the last year or two). But I know some people feel very strongly that he didn't get anything of note done.

My point is that regardless of whether he got a lot of things done, and regardless of either you after with what he did... he and his staff did it quietly and calmly. And as a result America (and the world) weren't flooded with insane crap. And I really really miss that.

  • The constant barrage of insane statements and actions from the current US administration. It's exhausting (by design).

Say what you want about the Biden Administration. It did since good things, and it did since bad things. But it just ran the country in a mostly quiet way. And if nothing else, it was nice to not hear crazy shit from it every fucking day.

  • I assume you're a woman, but it doesn't really matter.

As a man myself, I find the majority of men I interact with annoying. So I think I kinda know how you feel.

It's good that you have some good men in your life. But if that's not helping then it might be better to just minimize interactions with them as much as possible (without alienating the good ones). It's like if you have a food allergy, it's easier to just avoid that food. Hell, maybe you're allergic to men! lol

  • The natural question should be: what new immoral bullshit is he distracting the media and the public from with this video?

The video is horrible. But there's always something worse coming that he's trying to draw our attention away from.

  • Many Americans didn't. But unfortunately too many did. In centuries to come there will be lots of studies about how millions of people could do gleefully self-sabotage. Is it due to some sort of environmental poisoning (lead, plastics, pollution, etc)? Or plain old brainwashing? Maybe be both, maybe sometime else entirely. Either way, it will become a massive cautionary tale.

  • All this man does is tell lies. He is not worthy of the presidency.

It took you THREE election cycles where you voted for him in each one to figure this out?! Sparky's apparently not the sharpest knife in the kitchen.

  • The documentary they made about these a decade it two ago is really good. I highly recommend it.
