  • RIP Burger Becky

  • Double dash had the best drifting mechanics in the series imo. Really only DS and DD are the only ones who have more than hold a drift long enough for mini turbo as their drifting mechanics

  • I really would like to upgrade to a steam cube as my current PC is about 15 years old just with upgraded RAM, storage, and graphics but i also only play games that came out over a decade ago too

  • Sounds like you need to git gud

  • So literal space lasers?

  • Crime is legal now. Well only if you are the president or rub elbows with him, that is

  • I guess the point is that users who are taking training are not more likely to pass the phishing simulations but I think that’s missing point. In competently ran organizations the point of these trainings aren’t explicitly to teach people to not fall for tests but to be able to identify which users are your greatest risks and either give them more support or can them if they are to high of a risk that it outweighs their productivity.

Of course the people who are taking more training are failing tests. It’s because they lack the computer skills or cognitive ability to understand what they doing. But taking a five minute training that says “don’t click the link” isn’t going to magically make people not get phished, but it has usefulness in basic awareness (which is why we have the super basic cyber security awareness training as well)

The reality is that all human beings can be socially engineered if the attacker is motivated enough. You can’t stop it by training only by planning and being proactively prepared

  • This isn’t refuting your point at all, but if we complain that porn gives young men unrealistic expectations for sex now, wait until they can generate literally anything and that becomes their new normal for their expectations.

(To be fair, they’ve always been able to do this if their imaginations were big enough)

  • What’s the problem?

  • Call of Duty and Pokémon.

  • I think a parent should financially support their kids as long as they want to and are comfortable to. With the caveat that giving too much support can delay some kids from gaining financial independence. Personally what I plan on doing is “cutting off” my kids at 18 but giving generous financial gifts for birthdays and Christmas. And of course supporting them if they ask in times of need. Also if my kids work full time and live at home they will pay “rent” that I will put in a high yield savings then gift back to them as a down payment for their home when the time comes. We already sock away money each month in their college savings accounts so if I can save them those expenses I will be blessed as a parent

  • Buy the Call of Duty Warchest for $30 and play CoDUO with us. The best part about PC games is that you can still play the classics online!

  • Hello Fresh is very good in the US. At least in the Midwest, their distribution is solid and I rarely have problems with orders. It’s just too expensive, but that’s true for anything

  • Is this some sort of misguided patriotism? I don’t see what the propaganda we are supposedly falling for is. Is it not as equally accurate to say that public opinion and outcry led to it not coming to a vote? I think keeping that public outcry is important to defeat future attempts to undermine rights. Don’t think it can’t happen in the EU. It’s happening if the US

  • Poochy on his way back to his home planet

  • LibreWolf is FireFox that is prehardened. I tell people how important that getting off chromium is for the open web. But regular Firefox has too much crap between the AI features and there are so many malicious websites that just need extra protection anyway.

  • .ml is moderated to be ideologically one sided. Pro-capitalism is literally not allowed and will deleted. Making a pro-west or anti-China or Russia comment is like a bat signal for .ml admins and users alike to dogpile on your comment.

It’s their right to moderate their instance how they see fit, but removing content on ideological grounds is going to result in people thinking what’s left is propaganda.

For the most part I like .ml users, I don’t care for the admin team and moderator decisions and that’s why I’m not on that instance. I could care less about the fact my instance is defederated from hexbear users or grad users. They do want to be polarizing and live in a propaganda bubble

  • I’ll be honest I thought OP was talking about murdering people and taking their scalps. Probably more noble than seeking out others guidance on rent seeking, no value added, middle man behavior though
