  • Yeah… their other comments don’t really do anything else to dissuade someone from that conclusion either. Their other comments are all me me me. Calling everyone else selfish because they dare do something that systemglitch doesn’t do. The narcissistic self attention here is on full display. They are taking everything about themselves, painting it on everyone else and then judging them for it because they can’t bear to look inwards.

  • Maybe dont be so desperate to paint other as the villain.

Dude, you started whining and complaining about people who you’ve invented in your head after basing all of the troubles of people you’ve never met off of what you’ve personally gone through. You literally started this. You don’t get to whine when someone points out your behavior is no different than what you’re complaining about. You created a strawman and lit it on fire.

You’re a narcissist. I’m going to block you now because I can see absolutely zero value from anything that you’re contributing. It’s just malice, hatred, small mindedness, and self absorption. Especially when looking at your other comments in this thread like “I don’t care about peoples birthdays, it’s selfish bullshit and everyone loves me for it once I point that out.” Jesus christ.

The English language still backs it up. If you fall, you are falling. Simply because there is an ing missing from the text of a thing not said in the joke doesn’t mean that the joke doesn’t work. On top of that there’s the whole part of how the DM is God in a game, not the DMG or the rule book.

You didn’t ruin anything. Just weirdly pedantic for no reason

Sorry, I was unclear there. I had my wording all fucked up.

There are two parts to the ‘nobody’ thing. The first is the word nobody and then the second is the silence after it. It’s to denote that no one anywhere had ever thought or heard a particular thing. Then another group comes in as part of the meme and asks that particular question. To turn the meme into a sentence it would be:

“Not a single living soul in creation had ever expressed this idea but suddenly, one day, a group of Star Trek fans asked something fucked up for the very first time.”

Whether it’s fucked up or interesting or whatever is denoted by the general context or feeling that the question/idea gives. In this case it would be fucked up.

I was watching some Critical Role recaps and was in the middle of a deeply intense emotional moment. I had to turn away because I was welling up a bit and looked to the second monitor. A single lemmy message. I refresh. It’s this.

I cannot stop laughing at both the absurdity of the moment and the intense hilarity of that comment.

    Bravo. Bra-fucking-vo.

Kevin was the reason I have started to recently watch B99 for the first time. I thought he was HYSTERICAL in The Good Place and equally as charming in the Good Place podcast. I knew he was playing a gay guy but sort of forgot about it by the time I started. Finding that out personally was a huge pleasure. As well as Holt. Between The Good Place and B99 I can’t think of a single bad take on gay jokes or gay characters. All of them hit for me.

  • Not exclusively but they’re correlated to some degree. You’ll start on one topic which reminds you of another so you start talking about that one. That reminds you of another so you talk about the next. My roommate always says something when it happens, usually with me opening 14 youtube tabs and pausing videos to start another one.
