They look an awful lot like Edalyn and Lilith Clawthorne, is that a coincidence?
😈 : Running the Pathfinder 2e Tarrasque in 5e with no changes
I had the idea to do the reverse and throw the 5e Tarrasque at my players in my PF2e when they are around level 8* or so. Basically using one of the most powerful DnD bosses as a mid level side boss.
* I haven’t done the exact math yet
GM: it rolls to attack. Oh that’s a 2
Player: PFF easy
GM: for a total of 47, dealing 70 damage and you are grabbed.
GM: for its other 5 attacks …
My favourite is its reflect ability. If the players pull some meta bullshit like dropping tungsten rods from orbit the tarrasque can just play an uno reverso card and nuke the players.
I’m not a fan of the reflect ability. It’s just immunity, but a bit worse if the party doesn’t know about it ahead of time.
It would be much more interesting if it didn’t negate attacks it fails to reflect.
3.5’s tarrasque also had a reflective carapace.

Does anyone actually run an unmodified 5e tarrasque? Outside of a joke campaign?
I want to see a campaign where you have to protect an endangered tarrasque from a group of aarakocra that are trying to poach it.
Flee, Mortals! - Goxomoc
…i’m sure someone has published a complete guidesheet between MCDM’s creature names and the D&D creatures they’re intended to replace, but that’s their tarrasque and it’s properly formidable…
Holy shit, that thing is utterly terrifying.
I like add2e Tarasque
Reduce it to -100 hp and then use a wish spell to (temporarily) finish it off
