im the kind of person that would just buy the same model of mouse if possible. i was using an intellimouse 2.0 for forever, then MS released a new one(now discontinued) but it has a rubber coating that wears away from my thumb.

i have an elecom Huge trackball i like, but i mostly use it to help with carpal tunnel at work. i found that using a mouse that requires different motions really helps. i wouldnt ever use it for an FPS or PC game though.

I use a password manager for years (keepassdx & keepassxc) to generate absurdly long random passwords and change them at least yearly.

the vast majority of people don’t do any of this, hence the need for 2fa. there’s like 8 ways you can get a code from google, just set it up to send you a text message with a code. your rage over 2fa is pretty funny to me, it’s not that serious. you can probably put TOTP into keepass or whatever too so you dont need your phone for 2fa. i do that for plenty of sites with 1password. take a deep breath.

Are new kindles locked to amazon or something? i have an 11th gen i got used at one point, i havent paid for any books. Only downside is it only reads MOBI files but I use Calibre to convert them when i need to.
