  • When I worked at a gas station it was practically the same, sometimes the carton would be more expensive than 10 packs because most smokes have a 2 for 1 deal tied to them. I can't remember if it was corporate or big tobacco but one of them cracked down on it and changed the rules to where we would get in deep trouble if we sold a "loose carton".
