  • Re intelligentsia, they are only reactionary because they are selected by capitalist institutions to be reactionary. As in only intelligentsia with reactionary ideas have their research funded. So that can easily be alleviated by seeking out and funding intelligentsia whose ideas advance socialism. Imagine if Grover Furr got funding and was heavily publicized.

The petite bourge are willing to accept lower pay as long as there is lowered operational risk. This is where state owned enterprises go a long way in managing the petite bourgeois by giving them consistent business. As an example, the soviet union and the PRC allowed for private enterprises, because the majority of the economy was state owned.

Similar to the intelligentsia, the labour aristocracy are chosen for their position based not only on competence but also their tendency towards reaction. But even so, a lot of the labour aristocracy are apolitical and materialistic, because a lot of their work necessitates interaction with material reality.

  • I was in China a few years back, and there was a clanker rolling around serving my food at a restaurant.

Now they've got humanoid clankers doing backflips and shit on national television for the world to see. One even corrected itself when it stumbled.

  • Because that's how you get the proliferation of right wing ideology.

Have you been on forums with zero moderation?

  • It's like redefining fascism to exclude America and Israel.

  • A little bit off topic, but why TF does right wing nationalism (which is supposed to be all about exclusive self determination of one's own country) always end up compromising with American interests?

We saw this with Ukraine, Britain, Canada, and now Japan. I'm sure there are many many others.

To answer your question, the invasion of China won't be conducted by Japan. It will be a joint task force consisting of the US, South Korea, the Philippians, and Japan.

As it is, a simulation of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan has the US + Allies able to hold off the invasion, but with massive losses, including 2 of its 10 aircraft carriers, Taiwan losing its navy and Japan losing half its fleet of fighter jets and a quarter of its navy. China would lose 1/15 of its air force and 1/6 of its navy.

In short, China doesn't need nukes.

And it's not just Japan. South Korea and the Philippians are experiencing a military buildup as well. Otherwise these countries do not have the qualifications to invade China alongside the US.

  • Cultural revolution? I thought Maoists were ones that follow the doctrine of protracted warfare as revolutionary praxis? That’s several decades before the cultural revolution.

  • But you’ve got to admit that the most successful communists is/were maoists.

Other than the CPC, the Indian maoists and Philippine Maoists are at the forefront of struggle. Both parties hold significant territory in their respective countries.

  • Like, you don’t have to.

Just don’t torrent video games all the time.

They only go after you if you torrent terabytes for the purpose of reseeding.

  • That’s something he tends to forget a lot

  • That’s pretty good. Though I would much prefer a design that allows the owner to order and replace individual cells as they go bad without specialized equipment.

    Batteries can fail prematurely

  • Taking it down costs money and resources that would be better spent elsewhere.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with liberty as a concept, but in this specific context, it’s meant as the liberty of bourgeois colonists

  • Oh wow. Fits the pattern of third world nationalist parties being self contradictory.

  • My vote’s for Mao’s. The people’s party and the mass line. Simple.

  • And then you read english translations and stuff like Kumintang is written.

It's Guo Min Dang. Literally translated to national people's party.

  • It's part of our super structure that forms our current material conditions. More specifically, it's seen as a panacea to dull the contradictions from every-day life, but it blinds us to further questioning and analysis that would lead us to the formation of antithesis.

As it is, we cannot simply ban religion. One of the basic human rights is to have freedom of religion. But ultimately we need freedom from religion.
