  • I feel as though a lot of the actors who do the "Leftist Hollywood won't give me any work because I'm a conservative!" grift never really made it big in the first place, or rode the coattails of another more successful actor (Schneider and Sandler, in this case) and couldn't really hack it on their own when given the opportunity.

    There are quite a few out and proud right-wing actors and directors out there who do relatively well in Hollywood (Sandler, Clint Eastwood, James Woods...), so Schneider's "not leftist enough" excuse sounds like a BS reason to not get any work.

  • It's not every day you see an emulation handheld with six face buttons instead of the standard four. I like to play a lot of Sega Genesis (Mega Drive for those outside Burgerland and KKKanada) and finding a six button control pad was always difficult.

    But this looks clunky af to handle. Also the lack of gyro, so you can't even use this thing like an actual steering wheel to control games, kind of defeats the purpose of this form factor.

  • I feel as though tech companies are subtly trying to get rid of power options on devices.

    My old Samsung phone got an update that changed the power button into their AI assistant (whatever Samsung's version of ChatGPT is that I can't bother to look up the name of).

    Like instead of bringing up the reboot/shutdown options when you long-press the power button, it would bring up the Samsung's AI assistant menu.

    I mean I know it can be changed back in the settings, but it was yet another blatant example of companies forcing AI shit on their users who haven't asked for it.
