  • The problem isn't that idiots are throwing their money away. It's that foreign governments and bad actors can give Trump money this way.

  • It's definitely about theft. Hard to manage that away.

Walmarts are doing this with things like cosmetics in some areas too, though at least in the one I frequent they have a checkout counter and clerk in the immediate vicinity. Not sure it won't still frustrate the honest people who have lots of other options.

  • If you read the whole thing you'll learn that for some time their cards were in fact deactivated and they had to sneak in behind other people.

  • First pic made me immediately think the same! I'd be so happy if my kid did that for me, if only for the humor of it and our shared love of the game.

  • Why would you send an invitation to the unrelated "rich assholes" at all? Asking for a gift from people you don't like just to somehow guilt them into "sending us expensive shit or a decent chunk of change" proves you're just an asshole yourself, just not a rich one. It's a "dick move" no matter who you send it to.

  • You said it's not hard, but that's gonna be really hard.

  • Better the money go to the state than Trump.

  • Crypto doesn't avoid network fees. The fees aren't quite as arbitrary and are shared with a broader pool of those providing the network, but the fees are still there providing the incentive for the network transactions to be processed.

  • I have no idea but the eyes and the smile definitely give a different vibe than most mascots.

  • The boosting of propaganda and the identification, tracking and exploitation of government targets.

People in key government positions are still people like us and they love social media too. Having an app on their phone doing data mining can identify people of interest and then collect data, target and compromise them. Even without the app on a government issued phone they can identify key people using their personal phones and then target them for more sophisticated surveillance.

  • Best to talk to a lawyer for specifics, but like non-compete agreements, NDAs often include things that can't legally be enforced. The people wanting you to sign the NDA just hope you don't know better and you'll shut up.

If you know better, you can take their money and then disclose the facts anyway.

  • That brought a legit chuckle!

  • He-s mad he's not in the Funeral business.

  • Corruption is still the prime suspect here. Developers have a much harder time selling property that requires flood insurance.

  • I love that they have a belt. Like, you gotta put your belt on even with cut-offs.

  • It's keeping people off their land, as designed. I'm sure people buying property on the border do in fact find it beneficial not to have immigrants coming across on their property. Might even lower insurance too if it's viewed to reduce risk of liability.

Funny that they used donations to make their property more desirable and surprise Pikachu face its worth more now and taxes went up!

  • A lot of people are lazy and just assuming Trump will lose, won't vote. Others it's a challenge because they have to take time off work as voting day is not a holiday in the US. Additionally some polling locations have long lines, something notoriously common in low-income areas. People have been known to wait many hours just to vote and so not surprisingly these areas often have lower turnout due to frustration.

  • No OTA broadcasts in the US utilize 4k yet. ATSC 3.0 is being utilized some, but not exclusively, but no one is broadcasting 4k unfortunately

  • I'm 26+ miles away from the broadcast antennas as the crow flies and I get great reception from an approx $100 antenna mounted in my attic. Some HOAs don't allow antennas and people might be surprised to learn how good your reception can be from an attic.
