others within the intelligence world have dismissed the affair as mere “gossip,” according to the Times.
The irony of them trying to act like this is just gossip after they absolutely lost their minds trying to find anything to indict Hunter Biden over would be really funny if we still lived in a sane and rational world where the president isn't leading a literal Nazi regime.
The only way to turn around what professional reputation this job is branding her with would be to not just leave but publicly burn the bridge as she goes. Just moving on for "Greener pastures" is too soft, she'd have to make a stand about how this is unacceptable and has been for a while, how she can't stay silent anymore and vigorously seeks to oppose the regime. Trouble there is, the longer she stays, especially after it's known that she doesn't LIKE the job, the more fake that turn will look. It'll still probably come off as fake, especially if her actions don't commit to a follow through, but it's the only chance.
Otherwise the bootlickers will see her as a failure and the sane would see her as a collaborator. And honestly, good. Her career SHOULD be ruined, her future SHOULD be bleak. Fascists shouldn't be allowed to just give a wide eyed "I'm sowwy" and get their life back.
Really wanna see a guy try to explain to the police why he hit a snowman with his car, trying to dance that line between not looking like he lost control of the vehicle but also not looking like this was a deliberate and malicious act.
That's really exciting, because today you're also starting a new patience building initiative, holding off on your productivity. It's not a delay of work, it's time for management to reflect on priorities and reassess administrative operations unburdened by the distractions of ongoing worker functions. Remember that reevaluating delivery timelines in the face of productivity-function realignment is necessary for lean, responsive leadership. At the conclusion of this patience building exercise, which remember is not a delay but meditation on what it means to not get paid, discussions can be opened again on strategies to return to exceptional productivity.
And remember, even the most efficient engines need fuel, without that there really is no movement to begin with.
It's probably not a training issue, it really is a culture and accountability matter. Certainly the training isn't going to give any real effort to trivialities like "Constitutional rights" and "Due Process," but that's not the root of the problem. They're not blatantly violating constitutional rights because they don't know any better. They're doing it because they don't care and they KNOW , rightly or wrongly, that the worst any of them will face for it is a slap on the wrist and a veil from the public eye. They know that in all probability their superiors will be mad about the OPTICS of murdering someone in the street, they'll be mad that they got CAUGHT executing someone in cold blood, not that it happened in the first place.
This culture of iron fisted brutality is exactly the sort of thing anyone who could be described as "Career CBP," especially given recent events, would embrace as a loosening of restraint rather than the abject amoral, unconstitutional abuse that it is.
I wonder if this will be enough to wake some of those magats up, realizing that he's actually just using ICE as the magastapo and the leopard absolutely WILL eat their face the second it's more convenient to do so.
Well I am at least happy to hear the magastapo thugs are also probably financially ruined. Now if we can see a little ruin into the rest of their lives that'd really brighten my day.
Weirdly appropriate that this is in the Jokes community.
