  • They can also investigate terrorism, so just call critics terrorists and you can jail them.

  • I bought it from their official eBay store it's cheaper there than on Amazon

  • That's weird, there's different kinds of sensors, some are just a basic switch and others are optical sensors and then there's some that are a wheel that sense movement. My guess is that you have an optical sensor.

  • It pauses the print and waits for you to replace the filament so you could use up small rolls. It would also stop if the filament breaks, depending on where it breaks of course.

  • That first goomba in world 1-1

  • They're going to eventually cut more benefits, including snap, anyway.

  • Grab sks and go innawoods

  • Maybe stop printing so much and just sell stl files on various platforms like printables, thangs, Etsy, etc. They say sell shovels in a gold rush.

  • I installed an external antenna for mine pointed directly at the nearest cell tower and it's fine with multiple streams going. Before I did that it wasn't very good. The annoying part is that there's no access to settings in the router. I'm considering going to fiber for an extra $30/mo just because of the router issue.

  • Use a VPN, signal messenger, and a phone with graphine on it or at least a keyboard that doesn't need Internet permissions. Also avoid social media and use browser extensions to block ads and scripts, plus use different browsers for different things and ddg or other private search engines. Pay cash and buy second hand whenever possible.

  • Had the same issue and it was my mouse causing the USB ports to stop working I realized that the clock was still working and it would go into hibernate. Just wouldn't respond to mouse or kb.

  • There's no reason to use leaded fuel. Lead was just used as an octane booster. People say that it helps lubricate the valves or whatever, but it's a myth. You might eventually have issues if you run e10 fuel because that stuff isn't good for fuel systems in the first place.

  • They're built so that they can't easily be repaired cheaply so that you have to buy a new one. The dealership makes all their money off of predatory financing. They pay mechanics on "flat rate" so there's a gross incentive to recommend work that isn't necessary. Then there's the insurance industry. Then of course police use minor driving infractions to hassle people and generate revenue. The whole industry could just not exist and the world would be better for it. People spend half their salary just to have a car, it's ridiculous.

  • USB stick with os installer. People don't always have a second PC to make one.

  • It depends. I mod !dull_mens_club@lemmy.world and don't feel like I should try to steer the community in any way. I want it to grow it's own culture naturally. I'm just there to tend the garden, but I rarely have to take any actions due to the nature of the community.

  • After working on them professionally I stopped liking them. I don't even really like driving anymore. Everything about a car is a scam.
