My parents pulled out a pack of condoms from my toiletries bag one time I visited for the weekend during university and my dad mocked me for having them.

On my 18th birthday I wanted to go out and spend the day with friends. My parents said they didn’t want me to and they wanted me to stay home. I said I was 18 and an adult and I wanted to spend my birthday out with my friends.

I leave and enjoy a few hours until I get a phone call from my dad. He says “Come home immediately, there’s been a huge accident with mom and your youngest brother. We need you home ASAP”.

I rush home in a panic, spent an hour on the way home preparing myself for the possibility that half my family had died.

Only to find out that he had “played a joke on me” to get me to come home as a power move. No accident. No ambulance, no injuries.

“You think you’re an adult but I will ALWAYS be in charge of you” was what he said.

I’m 30 now and haven’t spoken to him in over a decade. I don’t think much about him since he’s pathetic, but when I do, I imagine that he’s rotting alone and unable to manipulate other peoples physchology and emotions 🙂

If I can pump out fake flood pictures, I can convince a couple million Americans that none of the flood images are real. That it’s ALL AI generated. Thus I can make roughly $100k on ad impressions and further convince people that climate change is a hoax.

Again, this just points to how you interpreted this image based off your cognitive bias. To you, one photo is positive, another is negative. That’s interesting. I don’t denote their differences as being positive or negative. They just are to me. There is no objective view of these things.

I think what you really mean is that you have acknowledged your bias. You take in information based on your own cognitive biases, including your appraisal of these two messages.

To me they both seem neutral in language. Neither states anything directly about the candidate, other than having information about them. This is an example of my bias. I’m not American so I don’t have the same emotional reactions that lead me to believing one or the other is more biased. To me the only thing I can say is that the Republican one is a stylized photo whereas the bottom one looks to be a photograph.

Depending on where in the world you live, a very slight outline of a nipple is not considered erotic or “pornographic”. Wild that to some it’s in the same category as swastikas and hammer and sickles.

If your company is nationwide and has offices all over the country and you work on a distributed team where some people are on the west coast, some are central, and some are on the east coast. In this such event, none of your teammates will physically be able to tell if you are in the office. That’s what this feature is for.
