Are you forgetting he remembered "person, woman, man, camera, TV" that one time?

  • After everything she did she spends less time locked up than I spend at work each day. I'd fucking swap at this point.

  • I know Musk deleted the woke mind virus a while back and it apparently didn't stick, but now Trump is saying museums are the last remaining segment of woke (whatever that means). That's it, you assholes don't get to say it any more, wokeness has been beaten again. You have to stop calling things woke now.

  • You know, it says "women" but one of the incidents mentioned is a 12-year old. It seems like their issues are never actually about protecting women or children, but surely that can't be the case can it?

  • I've got a family of them at my work (in Perth, not NSW). I work nights and have a lot of downtime, so I've spent a lot of time over the years just watching them look for food. I love the way they bounce along when they need to move on the ground, but I don't love the diving peck they do when they see food from a rooftop and neither does the bonnet of my car.

  • I like the bit where he got changed and then he got changed again and dyed his hair.

  • I'm trying out Filen to replace OneDrive, but it appears to be completely unusable. When mounted as a network drive it takes 10+ seconds to navigate through each folder, and opening files (for example a 90kb Excel file) takes upwards of 3 minutes. Closing Excel then also takes another minute because it has to communicate with the drive to tell it to close the temporary one and all that. Using the desktop app instead of mounting isn't a viable option because it doesn't let you open things directly, you have to download and save a file, use it, then manually reupload it again.

Is this just how it is? I've found other people with the same issues but can't seem to see any solutions. People have also reported that it's unreliable for backups because uploads/downloads sometimes just stop quietly in the background without telling you. Is this all user error? Are these programs vetted at all before being pushed or is not being US-based literally the only thing that matters regardless of any other factors?

I'll try out Nextcloud and Drime because they've been recommended in the comments here.

  • I played a few races with my sister at launch, then didn't touch the game again until I had a couple of mates over the other week for a games night. We did all 8 cups and knockout races back to back. Because it was all one night everything blurred together, I honestly don't remember what was a circuit race and what wasn't, I don't know if things were changing lap to lap like in Sonic Transformed or if it was moving us to different areas, I don't know what the hell was going on at any point. There's clearly so much there but it all felt so random which made it completely forgettable and so disappointing.

Then it wants me to do all this other disconnected stuff in free roam but from what I can tell it's just 15-second challenges and there aren't any races? And it doesn't allow split screen either. Who plays Mario Kart alone?

  • Lucky they had at least 6 cops there. That tiny man really looked like he was about to kick off.

  • It's GiveSendGo. They're run by hardcore Christians who claim not to take political sides and proudly allow campaigns the "mainstream media had shut down and was censoring" (as per their About page). They know.

  • Jones has "flipped" on Trump a dozen times. It's meaningless and he's doing it for attention, which he's getting.

  • “Who the hell does the RBA think will bear the cost of this ridiculous decision? First, merchants, and then customers,” Lambert said.

So why don't you fight for the banks to stop charging merchants those fees, since they have many orders of magnitude more money than you, and you have magnitudes more than the customer? I grabbed breakfast from the cafe in my apartment building the other day, they charged $9 for a plain croissant, plus the card surcharge. We're getting fucking robbed here and all you can do is pretend to care that the bank will force you to charge us more.

  • That'd be a nice change. Mine's full of fake hackers who claim to have gotten into my devices with a password I haven't used for over a decade threatening to send all of my contacts videos of me wanking.

  • It wouldn't bother me if they were moved, but I don't dislike them. They're better than some other things we have/had a lot of and I ended up filtering out.

  • Hopefully soon they'll wonder why they're putting so much effort into defending someone who never takes his foot out of his mouth.

  • Ever notice how your tongue never quite rests comfortably in your mouth? Like it's a tiny bit too big?
