  • Don't you worry bucko, Chuck Schumer is about to write a strongly worded letter up in this bitch

  • I missed something, what did Intel get in return for 10% of their company?

  • If you had been sued as often as this guy, you'd probably be muttering random legalese in your sleep and unconsciously letting it leech into your vocab, too

  • If you're comprised of multiple separate corporations, each one having its own CEO makes sense I suppose

  • I had to parse a bunch of SQL, with which I'm not familiar, and while trying to understand an issue I was having I solved it. It's a powerful tool that can guide you to understanding so well that you understand the problem and the solution at the same time. Or maybe I was just lucky.

  • Like yuppies was a play on hippies except it stood for Young Urban Professional

  • Won't people get used to this, making it harder to walk without it?

  • I always knew he was straight! Just like Liberace, that closet-macho fraud

  • Anyone expressing this opinion should be seconded to a chain gang for an undefined period of time. Could be a day, could be thirty-four months, could be for life. Reap the benefits of progress! Hope harder!

  • Right, except processing reality has become a challenge within the broadening artificial world.

I'm firmly in the "touch grass" camp, but as time goes on the prediction that life would slowly transition towards online life being more "real" than analog reality is coming true.

The pandemic really hit the afterburners on that prediction, and for many people, broke that fragile part of them that could cope with "reality" in the traditional sense.

So now, the distance between finding someone, holding their interest, getting to know them, attracting them and maintaining a romantic relationship with them that can turn into love is measured in light years, whereas the peck-pellet ease of conversation with a bot is right there.

It's a bit like having to rely on planting and harvesting crops for food while you have an Oreo cookie dispenser next to your bed.

The hard path is really the only path, but try to tell that to someone with a mouth full of delicious Oreos

  • Meat and cheese, what a pair

  • Wonderdogs!

  • Those mosquitoes just wanted to live another hour to taste that sweet 'globin

  • The not too distant future:

"Facial recognition confirms this person posts opinions that are partially out of line with source code directives. Approve drone strike?"

  • Hey i recognized him before I read your title so... good job!

  • Oddly, a friend grew ghost peppers and made a very simple hot sauce: blended peppers and vinegar with a touch of sugar and salt. I didn't know that was the exact recipe so I just dipped a whole chicken wing in and went to town. It was weird, like it was so spicy that it almost wasn't spicy because my whole head went numb.

The next day I was fearing the worst but... no issue! I actually ended up using that hot sauce all fall and winter as a chicken wing sauce. Never had a problem.

Tried a donair pizza with pickled jalapenos on it and it felt like a platoon of ants armed with flamethrowers decided to attack my asshole, with the added bonus that the cheese didn't exactly speed things along.

So I'm basically done mixing hot peppers and cheese
