It annoys me so much. It hasn't updated yet in Canada but "Gulf of America" is just wrong for any country outside of the US. Why show me Gulf of America when that's not a recognised name for my own or any other country besides the USA.
As a Canadian, I feel like that increasingly bipolar and sometimes insane downstairs neighbour we've always had has left their apartment and come up to ours (Mexico's included) to drag us out onto the street to take us all out in a weird murder suicide.
I can't say I'm not a little bitter at you guys (or some of you, I know most of you on Lemmy are suffering just the same and to you: we're in this together ❤️)
Canada 🤝 Mexico solidarity. Honestly, we should just create a new NAFTA or, sorry, CUSMA, without the USA; and tighten our trade with the EU while we're at it.
I'm kind of hoping we (Canada) just ban Tesla and Elon companies in this stupid trade war, or preferably, fight dirty and disregard Tesla trademarks and make out own Teslas (while also banning the company). Elon's wealth is tied to Tesla stock so if we can make even a bit of a dent in that, it'll be a good day (and hilarious)
Yeah Walmart does the same thing. It's usually because the cops don't really care about individual thefts but if they show you repeatedly stealing they can bring a real case against you
