Who's desperate to move there? The people from wartorn, corrupt and/or oppressive countries who just want to move anywhere else?
Or do you mean rich people from other wealthy nations who won't immediately go bankrupt from your broken healthcare system, and only want to move to take advantage of your completely broken tax system.
If it's the former, I can't see that dream lasting much longer, what with the camps you guys aren't wasting any time setting up.
Idk but if he does it, things are about to get ugly. We're (Canada) threatening to cut off power to places like NY and Wisconsin in retaliation. Ontario is also in an election cycle and the incumbent (conservative ironically) is running on a platform of being the toughest person to fight the US on this stuff, so he's really going to fight it.
I'll have to look into it. It's not a huge company and its still partially in startup mode so I'm not sure how they'd have set it up :/. I know the different markets are definitely not self sustaining companies at the very least. I think the Canadian office just manages CAD payroll and some of the legal details of operating here.
Also: definitely not Allstate. Much much smaller company that deals in cyber
I do understand that part. I guess more specifically, would an American company selling insurance in Canada get hit with tarrifs? I guess that really depends on the American and Canadian governments
APPARENTLY! Barely any realistically comes from our side though. A bigger issue is American guns crossing over from the US...
