  • "Crash out" originally comes from AAVE, everyone else says it now because they either heard it from TikTok or through cultural osmosis.

  • Hey, I just read this in the past week. Thank you, this was one of those pieces that opened my third eye a little more. Should be required reading.

  • The guy who comments "hasn't aged a bit!" like removed this is the most aged thing I've ever seen

  • He seems like he might be an okay guy... maybe it's just me, but something about NYC democratic politicians pulling off upset victories against party incumbents while campaigning far to the left of their establishment counterparts has soured on me. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop now that this guy won.

  • Africa is in trouble.

Coming from whitepower1488 I have to assume this means Africa is doing quite well.

  • I'm sorry, can this possibly be anything other than satire? Mads Mikkelsen?

  • Oops right sorry, I clean forgot about him

  • TIL no one dies in Occupied Korea

  • “Even some tankies know Russia and China are imperialist!!”

Are these “tankies” in the room with us right now?

  • Starts match

    Scores one (1) point

    "We should stop now."

  • Obligatory "where are you going? I thought this was your ancestral homeland?"

  • I have never heard any human being say anything like what's implied here. Someone just needs to tell them they aren't victims. This is embarrassing.

  • Are people really so dense as to believe this? We've literally heard this lie already. It's not been that long.

The god damn zionists and their "preemptive" strikes will kill us all.

  • They’d rather reinterpret actual classics like They Live, The Matrix, and Paul Verhoeven’s Starship Troopers because they’re so much better!

The only problem with doing so is that making these types of stories conform to fascist ideology requires a level of simplification most people would find intolerable and boring. "They Live" is in its own way reminiscent of antisemitic "lizard people" mythology, and could therefore easily be reworked into Nazi propaganda, but the critique of consumer culture and Reaganomics would become completely vestigial if that were to happen. Without that, how is it meant to be compelling or relevant decades later?

The only genre fascists have left is stock medieval European fantasy. And that really doesn't count. Even though the logic of race science and white supremacy is "baked into" these stories the same way flour, water, and yeast are "baked into" a loaf of bread, all these stories are still about people putting aside their racial differences and working together!

  • I would personally be embarrassed to admit that my idea of a perfect society has only ever appeared in children's fiction, doubly so if I clearly wasn't paying attention to the actual story and just bizarrely projected my Nazi hog-cranking fantasy onto it.

It does confound me slightly that this stupid idea of reality is completely removed from the world as it is while simultaneously having more political momentum behind realizing it than even social democracy does, much less socialism proper... can't have shit in the anglosphere.

  • The Jews in question feel the need to invoke their Jewishness when denouncing the genocide undertaken in their name because certain other Jews have been attempting to spot weld Jewishness with fealty to the Zionist colonial project for several decades. These same people use their own Jewishness as leverage for Zionism, crying over oppression and how it's their turn to wear the boot which has never actually stamped on their own faces. The degree of hypocrisy is almost stunning.

  • They should be more like the noble IOF and take selfies of the kids they’ve just killed, not the ones they’ve fed!

  • These ultras need to seriously think about what they're saying. People in China now enjoy unprecedented material wealth, upward mobility, and optimism for the future. Is this because capitalism is a fair and effective system, but only in China and not everywhere else in the developing world? Or is it because they're not doing capitalism?

  • Whether or not “poet” counts as a real job is irrelevant. They would’ve had to step around a few hundred factory laborers, grocery clerks, and agricultural workers to find even one. What was wrong with all these other people?
