  • Ist viel verständlicher. Dürfen wir den Slogan dann jetzt konsequent wegmoderieren? Denn selbst mit Erläuterung bin ich mir ziemlich sicher, dass so manche Mods und User von dbzer0 darüber auch weiterhin komplett empört wären.

    Davon abgesehen bin ich nicht deiner Meinung, aber so viel Meinungspluralismus sollten wir aushalten, ohne uns gleich zu blockieren und zu deföderieren, meine ich. Meine Meinung: Der Genozid muss aufhören, und von der Weiterexistenz Israels ist das unabhängig. Man kann von existierenden Ländern verlangen können und sie notfalls zwingen, keinen Völkermord zu begehen, und auch sämtliche andere Verstöße gegen das Völkerrecht zu unterlassen. Man kann Regierungschefs und -beteiligte zur Rechenschaft ziehen. Man kann von Unrechtstaaten verlangen, kein Unrecht mehr zu begehen. Dafür muss man sie nicht auflösen. Deutschland gibts auch immer noch.

    Und das ist eine Meinung, die will ich haben dürfen, ohne dass mir dafür unterstellt wird, Palästina im Stich zu lassen oder sogar ihren Völkermord zu unterstützen, denn das ist im besten Fall ne schwachsinnige Schlussfolgerung und im schlechteren Fall unehrlich und vorsätzlich destruktiv für die Diskussion darüber.

    Ein Teil der dbzer0-Instanz würde dich schon allein dafür blocken. Deswegen ja das Meme. Das war einfach schräg wie dort stellenweise argumentiert wurde.

    "Death to Israel" ist dafür ein sehr gutes Beispiel, nicht mehr und nicht weniger.

    Ich finde Feddit hat da gar nichts aufgehängt. Gab ja kein Abstimmung diesseits, von Instanzen zu deförderieren, die den Slogan stehen lassen.

    Das müsste man als pluralistisches Fediversum schon aushalten, dass an verschiedenen Stellen (und unter dem Druck verschiedener Gesetzgebung) unterschiedlich moderiert wird.

    Aber dass diese “deutsche Definition” von Antisemitismus international ein Geschmäggle hat, kann ich schon sehen.

    Bin ich bei dir. Aber selbst wenn ich anderer Meinung wäre, würde ich dich dafür nicht blocken.

  • Es ist vor allem unterkomplex, einer ganzen Instanz Zionismus zu unterstellen, weil bestimmte Slogans als problematisch angesehen werden.

    Lustigerweise habe ich dein Meme ebenfalls im Post erwähnt. Die Debatte unter dem Original finde ich nämlich ziemlich bezeichnend dafür, wie rigide und stellenweise bizarr seitens dbzer0 teilweise argumentiert wird.

    I agree, but I wonder if it's inevitable. Safe spaces for men would obviously have to be non-judgmental, but by women and men alike. In order to have safe spaces for men in the first place we'd need some kind of rules of conduct anyway. Explicitly or implicitly. And if those rules are in place it shouldn't make a difference if the people upholding them are men or women.

    In real life I feel the justification for exclusively male spaces is often sexist in nature (e.g. "women cannot be non-judgemental" or "they wouldn't/couldn't be supportive of men) or based in toxic masculinity (by reinforcing that men have a role to play in front of women, which makes it impossible to truly open up before them).

    Obviously we all have learned and integrated these gender roles so much that even if we disagree with them on a cognitive level, it's still a fact that we are restricted by them. So as long as we don't have equality, men will probably in parts be held back by the idea of being vulnerable in front of women, even though it shouldn't have to be this way. With that in mind maybe male only spaces could be a clutch until men get better at talking with women. I'm just wondering if we aren't yet at a point where we can think of something better, and make a step in the right direction already - with gender inclusive safe spaces, that clearly support the right and the opportunity for men and women alike to express their feelings.

    That's what interests me. Why is that best achieved in exclusively male groups? What would actually be required to empower men to vent in gender inclusice spaces?

    Der Report Psychotherapie von 2021 rechnet mit Gesamtkosten von 2,8 Mrd. € für ambulante Psychotherapie. Von den Gesamtausgaben der GVK im selben Jahr sind das gerade einmal 0,9%.

    Eine stationäre Behandlung ist fast 13-mal so teuer wie die ambulante Psychotherapie.

    Oder anders gesagt: Ein Abbau der ambulanten Versorgung oder eine Verschlechterung des ambulanten Angebots wird für das Gesundheitswesen in Zukunft richtig, richtig teuer.

    Woran zum Fick will der Spitzenverband hier also sparen? Im Ernst!?

  • As someone who relates a lot to the feeling OP is describing, I actually blocked that community. Feeling uncomfortable with the label "woman" and the baggage it comes with, a place that's labeled "for women only!" is one of the few things I've encountered that made me sympathise with what actual gender dysphoria must feel like.

    • a gender-non-conforming woman
    • an enby
    • someone who's gender fluid
    • some flavor of neurodivergence, BPD, or any other issue associated with an ambivalent sense of self, overestimating how much one should feel like "x" in order to "deserve to be called x"
    • a person in the process of discovering their own gender identity

    So let's not jump to conclusion. There are many options and being a trans man is just one of them - and one we should never hastily impose on anyone.

    Being able to "cope", or survive, within horrible circumstances isn't oppressive. Oftentimes it's absolutely necessary to even begin to change your circumstances for the better. The alternative is unnecessarily cruel and to be clear helps absolutely zero with the status quo.

Why on earth should we call it a burger for beef patties, chicken patties, veal patties and fish patties, but not for bean patties, veggie patties or plant based meat patties like impossible? The only thing different to a "burger" are ingredients which are already swapped out for different ones on a regular basis.
