  • Fundamentally flawed of course - clearly you can crack a cold one in the yard all by yourself. The presence of the boys is not required, and in fact is a downside since they will consume your remaining cold ones and then go look for milkshakes without so much as a thank you ma'am.

  • Interesting, but just using a little more flour and baking soda seems simpler.

  • Maybe tell them you're a taxidermist? Although that might be a different kind of turn on.

  • LPT: you can avoid this simply by making something different every time.

  • I know this probably won't help but it's kind of funny. My D&D group years ago had one member who was consistently an hour or more late. So the DM started telling her the game was an hour earlier. People would show up slightly early for the real time, and she would straggle in apologetically, pretty much right on time. Worked like a charm for almost a year before she finally caught on.

  • We cut out the middleman and put the plastic directly in the food.

  • I don't see what the backlash is about. A publicly owned store is no different from Costco, except everybody's a member and there are no owners raking off prof-... ohhhhh, now I get it.

  • Is AI porn vibe sex?

  • I love making chocolate chip cookies, and have refined my technique so a batch of dough fills my two baking sheets perfectly without them smooshing together. The two tricks are using a little more flour and baking soda than the recipe says, so they're a little fluffier and don't spread out so much, and consistent ball size.

  • I came hoping for more intelligent content and less middle-schoolish "I hate

    <whatever>

and if you don't hate it enough too you're EVIL!"

Found pretty much the same level of that, but I do like the UI better.

  • I don't think we mean the same thing by "motivating" but whatever, yeah billionaires are bad and it would be better if we capped wealth.

  • Too much trouble, I'm in no hurry.

  • Trivia: cole slaw is an Anglicized version of the Dutch word koolsla, meaning cabbage salad.

  • Next time bring a more cunning linguist.

  • I would make a much more specific wish - decrease everyone's greed level by 50%. I think changing human nature by that much would be enough for altruism and cooperation to overbalance selfishness and fear.

  • I'm convinced that Trump won because his team changed Harris votes to Trump votes, plain and simple. The differences between their totals were statistically anomalous compared to all the downballot candidates, the variations were just below thresholds that would have triggered automatic recounts, and these anomalies were present in the 7 swing states only. Those facts alone should justify formal audits, which I hope will happen. But it all kind of depends on the fate of the one lawsuit filed so far.

  • Reminds me, I used to have compiler errors make the 3 Stooges "bonk-OWW!" sound. Not as a student, as a software dev in my 40s.

  • When we say "healthcare" we mean caring for the health of healthcare corporations.
