I had 1 employer ask for transcripts. I told him my university does not keep transcripts for students over 30 ago… archived records can be searched for a large fee with no guarantee records would be found. So i told them no transcripts. They hired me anyway.
Omg, what happened to just sitting by the water watching the boats pass. Mt family took me on an outing to some pop up museum experience where the rooms were dark and filled with videos and sound and stuff. Cool enough i guess. But after 10 min i found my way outside to a patio area facing the water and was able to just sit on a park bench. No input other than watching the waves. I loaded pop os years back for the nvidia support and since i bought hardware from the same manufacturer that supplies system76. Its been fine, no complaints other than the battwry life…to be expected.
I found out that sys76 keeps most its software and drivers only for machines it sells. When i try to install things, i get unknown system. Fyi

Unless you go 100percent wireless service, youll need cabling or leases to use existing cable, poletop routers, client equipment, central networking, security, persons to run it, billing, customer support, youll need a backbone to a major carrier, your hosted dns. Then there are builing rents, taxes, business licenses, lawyer fees.

This is true for any company using 3rd party services. I worked for one that used a 3rd party messaging service to send out mfa texts to users. The company was hacked and went offline, so we couldnt send any mfa codes… and of course, they had no plan b.
