  • Oh shit that's a real show I thought it was a joking response. But context clues tells me I shouldn't check it out?

  • what show?

  • It's more like the trade federation from Star wars, a conglomerate of people using money power to sway international relations of governments. They were never about peace, but the are about taking what they want when they want

  • Why do you think it would be removed? Is it violating some rule?

  • I agree, but maybe we underestimate the youth, and we are still the melders of their understanding... Thus it may be best to embrace the abnormalities and discuss what we feel pertinent. If the heart of socialism is at understanding the value of people and treating them properly... Tearing them down for making jokes in a time of terror gets us no where. So I figure, support; joke. And be there. If one asks, answer. Don't preach. Enlighten don't breach. The world's fucked... But if my last day is to make anothers day better, that may be all I can do

  • So woke is 6 7

  • I wasn't 100% who she was, but I thought she looked like the woman from Euphoria. (I get what you were saying, I just figure it may give context to some people that didn't recognize her right away)

  • Route all their traffic to the library website would be comical. Then punch a hole through parental settings so when they think they found a hole, they wind up back to checking out a book.

I shouldn't ever have kids, might seem comical to me at the time, but manipulating people for jokes can't be good long term

  • "Remove from Homescreen" "Delete App" Is what I saw recently when helping an older person remove an app from their iPhone.

They are trying to make it as easy as possible for people, but I guess that doesn't help much when you are trying to subvert someone with authority over you.... Cause then you get into child accounts and screentime settings apparently.

They have gotten pretty robust now.

  • 10 years of talking about a healthcare plan, and it is a single page with not much to go on.

It's like he had someone list talking points for a speech, where they would avoid any questions about how they planned to bring down the costs other than, "have them list their prices and claim denials."

  • What happens if you take the assessment? Does it make you eligible to file for disability or something?

  • What kind of classes? Shooting? If so I'd say shooting won't help much unless you have a community response to those threatening you. It just gives ammunition to those calling the American population dangerous, and trying to break them into groups so they can exploit hatred and fear. I believe that standing by all "groups" no matter what is what needs to happen. When someone tries to divide to conquer, the best answer I can see is avoiding any divides. The problem is it works on so many people, that about 30% of the country agrees that they have enemies in the country. Yet those people they think are enemies... Are no one they know, and would take as a friend if they were their neighbor.

Edit: that's said as someone taught to shoot when I was 8 and has owned guns from 18, I'm 36. Guns aren't the answer without community

  • You need to change the term holds to held for your argument to work. Also impeaching/removing someone from an office they left 25 years ago clearly doesn't make sense, so the investigation could only be to update legislation or it is invalid.

Even the article stated that majority of these people who have been summoned were deemed invalid

  • It signals nothing

  • It's congress as well, they can only call witnesses or documentation for purposes of reviewing/updating/creating legislation. So it is only even a valid summons if they are saying they want to create legislation that investigates the executive branch members and their connections to root out corruption. Thus it would make more sense to summon Trump and Bannon as well for their current ties to the executive branch, rather than Bill, who has not been a member of executive branch for 25 years.

Congress writes legislation, it doesn't judiciate anything.

  • Why couldn't one argue that Nick Shirley commited libel/slander. Their actions did in fact directly impact everyone involved? Did they claim you did something, yes. Did they do it with the intention to cause harm, yes. All harmed should be able to sue

  • Shouldnt the people of Minnesota sue Nick Shirley directly for the loss of any funds based on their bogus information. The damages may appear direct by saying you cut $200 of food to this person, but the effects of cutting that $200 could cause thousands in damages to their lives. Thus suing them for multiple times the total amount of funds cut should be completely reasonable.

People making unfound claims that don't come out and immediately say they were bullshit when policies are made around the should be held 100% liable. Then every member involved in enacting that policy once found rediculous should be impeached investigated to be personally held liable for the same amounts, owed to the citizens hurt.

Would that make them bankrupt for the rest of their life, yes. But their actions caused worse

  • Makes you wonder if it was some stupid thing where the makers of Yellowstone rented access to a helicopter for filming, then when they were filming had them land someplace thinking they were on still on another ranch or public property.

All I can say is if you have enough land to not know a military helicopter landed in your yard, you've got a lot of land

  • Sadly I'm hoping they do it so Musk will poor money into allowing side loaded apps in Android and iOS permanently
