  • So much for a blue milk run

  • We attacked Florida and demanded that they don't cut off traffic to Alabama through the Gulf of Mexico. Except it isn't nearly that wide, it's 35x smaller

  • If you go to settings, scroll down to about, what version of Android is it. Just hoping to narrow it down if we reach out to a developer

  • Innocents killed vs dollars made, what a world to live in.

Also is that not an admission that all countries should sanction the U.S. now... It should be

  • Mind if I ask what device / os version you are running to see if it is tied to specifics

  • Awesome, it's always exciting. I did some honey but squash 1 year and wish I had grown so many more. Just kept making different things out of them. The laziest was just slicing them like fries and salting/oil and they would bake coming out sort of like sweet potatoes fries

  • What are you growing. Depending on what they are, spacing (cucumbers, squash) and possibly support (tomatoes, some peppers) may be helpful. It's always fun, and even when it goes badly... I still enjoy it.

  • I remember a Steven Segal joke about this, can't remember where

  • They sent me a coupon for $3 off any 2 packages I wanted to buy in the future, haha

  • Yeah it's real, Microsoft has built keyboard commands into the keyboard for awhile. Windows Key + E opens Windows Explorer. Think that existed in XP.

Ctrl shift Esc opens task manager.

    Win r (run)

Then obviously all the basics Ctrl x,c,v,p,z,y,f Ctrl t and Ctrl shift t for browsers

(All of those last set should match Mac OS, just substitute Ctrl for Cmd)

Most of them work in Mint and Debian as well.

Although a good feature was updating Ctrl V to Win V which allows you to paste from your clipboard, so all those times you copy data, then copy something else and forget you did and try to paste, you can hit win v, and paste which selection you needed.

I use Linux for Home, and Mac/Windows for work...

  • Never met the woman but this feels like a comment copy and pasted from a trove of remarks showing just how sexist an online community is.

Her actions and comments can speak for her not being a good person without us making allegations about her sex life.

  • So uh, I understand why someone may visually like the second one, but I must ask... Does adding a 6th wife to the picture just to make it semetrical not mess with the story?

  • Someone trying to sell you a job, that's interesting. I wonder if they do that at certain times of the year places. I imagine you need a lot more Uber drivers in specific areas for events. Like if Comicon is happening, you suddenly have hundreds of thousands of people coming to the area that will spike the number of people needing rides. I assume the same happens with the Superbowl, Mardi Gras, soon to be the World Cup, etc.

  • Some people just want to believe I guess. Like they could start pushing lies that trump cured cancer and there would be some people that believed it with no credible evidence even as they died from cancer. The media would spin words to make it not sound like complete fabrication but rather everyone being misdiagnosed, and then appease some moderates by stating cancers are all different issues really, so they don't really have cancer but a more acutely defined illness and at the end of the day 30% of Americans would answer polls that Trump cured cancer, 30% say he didn't cure cancer and 40% didn't know how they felt or if their head was infact in their ass at that very moment. Because yes, several of them look around and only see shit.

  • White? Or is it the background for the time left in the quarter you meant? The scores appear to be white on blue and white on black. Not sure why they did the WNBA logo to be on orange though. The shot clock being on red makes sense to me as it is the "imminent danger". (Probably could just do black on white for it though)

  • Not to mention what good does it do. China is moving to electric vehicles, and solar power. Sure you'll want to use gas powered ships for now, but half of the ships traversing oceans are simply moving fuel around, which won't be needed as the electricity doesn't need to be shipped if it comes from solar. Will large shipments still be needed, of course, but wouldn't it be against the U.S. own interest to have high oil costs for the country shipping them items. As in every item would cost more for American consumers to have it shipped, it would be like putting a tariff on Chinese goods.... Oh... I forgot making the American worker pay more to line the pockets of the oil companies is what they want, got it.

  • I don't even know what regulations they are skirting. You can't just sign up to become a driver without submitting information just like any other job. Background checks are required, licenses and what not. People are also supposed to leave feedback if they had a bad experience so I could only imagine that the complaints are surrounding the idea that Uber isn't following up on the feedback enough. That said if 500 people ride with that driver and rate them well, and 1 person says they were a perv, and Uber looks at it and finds that person has called several male drivers pervs while they get good ratings from everyone else, there could be a problem that those people have a type, or Uber could be thinking the issue is the rider at that point
