  • One of the main issues is that it requires 2/3rds of the senate to remove bad actors. So bad actors only need to ensure they have 34% of the U.S. representatives support to keep on being a bad actor.

  • Probably an 8-5 that mostly benefits some executives and shareholders rather than ourselves

  • Do they hit the ground? And if so how much do they weight? Seems like getting one of those to the head wouldn't go over well

  • Reminds me as a kid a I knew a guy who had a old Chevy big block rigged up as a wood splitter. Guess he just got tired of splitting wood all the time.

  • Had never heard of that before, thanks for mentioning it.

  • Yeah I'd like to see them laugh at having to remove all guns from the police, military, and the death penalties.

Does thou shall not kill also mean we can't kill animals and plants as well? Guess we would all have to starve...

  • Start physical education earlier? PE and playground time type shit started in preschool.

If you want to bring down medical costs pay them directly through the government and ban insurance companies.

Drug company: "We're going to raise the price of drug A."

Proper response: "If you raise the price of your drug we'll ignore your patent and sell it for half the cost so you lose sales"

Medical costs would fall and we'd have a healthier society

  • The text you copied says Austins population is growing.

  • If that were true, then Austin wouldn't have been what it was for awhile. I would say the acceleration of population increase went down around 2016. The "music capital" or whatever they wanted to call it. Freedom arts etc. the acceleration of growth hasn't hit pre-trump numbers since.

Now maybe it isn't a way to directly corelate things, but it shows a lack of enthusiasm to go to Texas, and a lack of support for arts there. All tied to the worst governor in the U.S. if we blink and ignore the man who should be in prison Desantis. Both of them should be tried and convicted of human trafficking. Period. But, Texas was moving more modern in the 2000-2010 era to me, and it got fucked by a number of people. But Trump was the nail in the coffin.

We are just trying to dig up a grave now there, which is helpful.. but doesn't mean anything unless it is above 50% to me that we actually have real change. Day by day, sure. Every ounce counts.. but full picture is better than focused scope

  • May I ask a bit more?

Can you launch on system start up as opposed to user, yes in my experience.

Can you login when the user has not yet been logged in, yes in my experience so long as the program is launched by the system as a service and not a user login option.

If the machine has multiple monitors, you may need to test, as I standardly use a phone (android) to remote to my desktop/laptop seveer environments where I can individually choose a monitor if they have more than 1 I believe, but having one screen on the phone, I don't view both at the same time.. nor would it be convenient..

It's a free 2 minute try it out really. The uninstall if you don't like. If you really like it maybe consider hosting your own. But otherwise you can use it from their severs for free and it will remember your recent connections and passwords if you want on your local device...

I feel like a salesperson for a free product lol

Edit: I realized I asked no questions, did that answer yours?

  • Exactly how I found it. Looking for open-source TeamViewer essentially.

Works very well for the tasks I throw at it. Hosting it yourself is easy as well

  • I suppose, but do we. The article reads like a propaganda piece with no mention of how bad it really is. It's "your lipstick looks great" but you have 2 black eyes and a swollen broken nose.

Optimistic views are fine, but recognition of realism should also be a part of the measure. Texas got its nose broken, and she put on nice lipstick today

  • Yeah I suppose I should have said what I've used it for but I think I've only really used it for Android, Linux, and I think I may have put it on Windows once, not sure. Overall I run into few circumstances I've ever needed to go the machine, usually it's tied to bios/driver issues on the laptop I use for a server, not Rust issues

  • 25-13 Republicans - Democrats in Texas congress members.. maybe 24-14 now.

Hate to be the downer but that would mean 63% of Texas believes Facism is fine

  • I use RustDesk because it's good enough. It may not work for everything, but it is open source and has suited my needs.

I have it launch on boot in Mint and it works fine

  • I haven't checked it recently because it isn't my content consumption format, but has it really gotten better. If more people join I would really like to recommend it to people like my spouse... But as it was when I tried it, shed nope right out of there.

What I liked was if you shared a loop, they could view it without having an account, but I couldn't view a tiktok when she tried sending me one say last year

  • Fuck I said the same thing with seagulls lol

I hate that the joke makes me laugh, but I think it's mostly because my spouse hates it, so I just look at the birds if I see them now, and shes like NO!

  • "Do you know why that side is longer? "( Pointing at V formation of seagals flying over)

... "There's more birds on that side"

It's so fucking dumb and all about timing

  • Where do you think we would be in slavery if the U.S. would have never happened.

Time diversion maybe, but humanities terribleness isn't dictated by nation nor time period sat out
