  • This is where I am too, in my late 30s. Had a really bad year last year reaching burn out and ending up with panic disorder 😵 I wonder if changing to a job that's more systematic would help, but also the boredom kills me and I need money. I hope you figure it out!

  • Yes except the chair is the floor 😭

  • 2025 has been a roller coaster. I'm a DJ, and played a festival for the first time and got booked for a gig on my favourite label - amazing, rewarding achievements for me!

I also got evicted, developed panic disorder and have had to navigate our healthcare and benefits system for my partner who has a disability and hasn't been able to advocate for himself.

I kind of feel like; we made it. And that's an achievement on its own.

  • My autistic colleague gets to me read her emails before she sends them in case they need "humanising" 😂 This was after a guy said her tone was aggressive and unpleasant (it wasn't, it just wasn't fluffed out and he was a big baby).

  • But then you're still drinking that in one day? That is pretty wild to me.

  • You can do this in android if you use a launcher.

  • Good luck with experiment number 2 😅

  • I'm sure lots of women do.

  • This looks exactly like a Staffordshire Oatcake! I grew up eating these. They're usually eaten with cheese or bacon, or as part of a breakfast.

  • I think maybe they're intentionally isolating themselves?

  • Emails? Wtf?

  • Can confirm Summit supports Piefed and it seems pretty slick.

  • Me and my siblings have pretty much always got on, apart from some normal squabbles when we were kids. They're legit my favourite people to hang out with. I'm not sure exactly what my parents did to make this happen. I guess they treated us equally with love, respect, kindness and an excellent sense of humour.

  • Literally the opposite of neutral 😑 Why are these folks so scared of other people existing?

  • I have this same problem! Friends will mention a film they're about to see and I've literally never heard of it, and they very much act like I should have 😂 I do feel like I'm missing out on important information, but I'm still not turning ad blockers off.

  • Can you see your GP immediately? Like, when my partner has a seizure that lasts more than 2 minutes I'm meant to call an ambulance, but do you have to talk to your GP first?

Anyway, where I am in England it's pretty difficult to get a routine appointment. 2-3 week waiting times. I've been having panic attacks and couldn't speak to my doctor to get help; I completely understand why someone would go to A&E for help with this because you feel like you're dying and who else can help if your GP can't see you?
