didn't have money for an external hard drive or anything like that growing up, so a lot of stuff got lost over the years. but when i upgrade my NAS' hard drive i will buy an enclosure and scrape all of the important stuff together. like recovery codes for my 3ds collection, old photos of my late cat. that kinda stuff. then i'll see how frequently i'm gonna update the data.
my dad has always been using firefox, and he was right. at first i used chrome, then firefox for a bit, then opera gx. and i still came back. sometimes sticking with ol' reliable is best.
the 1.4 introduced somewherein the 2000s was their last "good" engine. newer models just suffer from downsizing, constant engine problems after around 80K km.
buy a used honda or a toyota. might even be fuel efficient if you buy a prius for cheap and replace the battery.
or, you know... buy a small car. the 1st gen aygo easily does 40-50mpg and cost 10K BRAND NEW. but then toyota made it a crossover which uses more fuel and is almost 20K.
perfectly reasonable and logical prejudice, i might add. we really need to get people to use alternative search engines. google has been sucking fat balls for a long time now. either people are going to start to switch, or the frog will continue boiling.
sure, i love change for the better. the EU parliament is proof that change like this is possible, one just needs funding for lobbbyists like rossmann has done it.
in a fair world, all of these companies who abuse the GPL license woild get sued and have to face actual consequences. but the legal system favors the rich, and the FOSS dev is left to starve. killed by their own passion.
and the naming scheme doesn't make it any better, "USB 3.2 Gen 3 with USB PD and/or CuickCharge" just doesn't make sense to rationally thinking people.
how about "USB C-C up to X amount of mbytes and 100W charging"?
heated blanket. warm cat is peaceful cat.
