just looking around for now

  • ok i REALLY need to delete my account there.

  • it's usually better implemented here. i regularly went to a real (the supermarket chain) once, they had one employee manning 4 self checkout machines and one of them took cash. they would open them during lunch rushhour, so all of the people who just wanted a sandwich were out of there within 30 seconds. worked awesome.

  • "initializing couch grapplers..."

  • i'm not using netflix. again, not usable the way i want to.

    private jellyfin server FTW.

  • honestly, i'm just gonna hook my TV up to a thinkcentre or some shit, my android TV is horrible to use. if they're gonna make it difficult to use their product the way i want, i'm not gonna.

  • yeah, you basically need to be a pro at reflow soldering. but that's the thing about independent shops, they're willing to put in the extra work to be as economical as possible. ends up being cheaper as well.

  • "buzzword, buzzword, buzzword, anyway consume product. don't worry about how we group unreliable parts in with the expensive ones."

  • also a breeding ground for misinformation. this company should've been shut down long ago.

  • very fun, highly recommend.

  • definetely buy a cat tree and if you don't already, make sure there's a spot so high up that no one can reach her. my cat has a box of fabric on top of a cabinet.

  • i will usually just drop any bread clips straight onto the ground, and kouki will immediately attack it. he loves hiding them under carpets, too.

  • of course. it's better to optimize airflow and only slightly increase boost.

or if you wanna go extreme, swap a bigger, more durable engine in there.

all at the cost of fuel mileage.

  • 160K km is indeed quite an amount, my 1SZ-FE Yaris has done just over 100K now, and similarly has had zero incidents after 20 Years and me being it's 4th owner. doesn't use oil, doesn't burn coolant, no unusual rattles, everytime we change the oil it's still very translucent.

they don't make them like they used to, not even the toyotas.

  • i think it was an earlier NA one. my brother's 2006 Polo has it.

extra room is good, a couple more turbos can't hurt.

  • yes please, lock that extremist fucker (viktor orban) out.

  • ok have fun with the cars that will most likely not even last 10 years.

me and many likeminded people don't want 'em.

  • of course, but because of what happened in the 30s and 40s we take banning parties very seriously. you would also have to ban anyone afiliated with the party from just making another one.

but i believe it will eventually come to that, seeing as they're not even hiding it very well anymore.

  • the world is going to shit based on the interests of the rich, and many people choose the easier option of blaming immigrants and black people.
