When I was in college, I was part of a group working on a new way to transport vaccines reliably, with little to no power demand, so they could get to remote or unconnected places. They were still working on it when I left. I guess they never figured it out 😔
Good for him. This guy obviously has a lot of problems; I'm sure he could use a trip to the Caribbean. And based on the fact that we've gotten by without an ambassador to the Bahamas for over a decade, I doubt he'll mess up any crucial decisions lol
This is what AI should actually be used for. Strengthen the algorithms that identify it to reduce the load humans need to review, and it should hopefully be more manageable
I can see Janeway, herself at least, wanting to leave behind as little as possible after what happened, even with all the interference they'd already caused. But they had to have some kind of xenohistorian foaming at the mouth to observe that place lol
@cogman@lemmy.world posted up above, "Trump's eligibility was challenged and the supreme court's response was 'Parties can pick whoever they like to be president, we'll figure out if they are qualified later'. That means the republican party is free to nominate and run Trump for president in 2028. The supreme court would only get involved if he wins the election, in which case..."
Emphasis mine. So what that means is, he'll be allowed to run, and then his illegitimate Supreme Court will just flip and say "It's too late now!"
Same approach they used to deny Garland his seat back when Obama appointed him, just with different obstructionists. Their MO is 'Rules for Thee, but not for Me'
Oh, I heard Indiana was going to execute someone. Hopefully it's this guy
