  • Nah, a lot of them are useless. I see it at work. Many of them are incapable of making a quick phone call when they need something. They just don't understand that people prioritize answers for people they actually know. You don't get to know people via texting.

  • I don't know... While this certainly has made a comeback in the last couple of years (thanks to rise of fucking Nazi shits all over the world), there has been a positive development.

I actually believe it has more to do with the ever increasing "efficiency" at work and addictive media (YouTube, social media, Netflix, etc.). People just don't have time for sex anymore, because there are quicker ways to get your dopamine fixed. This is also why people don't go out and socialize anymore. Social media is actually very antisocial.

  • Yup, just go with stainless steel. I wouldn't recommend teflon coated pans anymore, because it's literally poison.

  • The comic is bullshit, your bullet points even more so. Except the one second to last. But then again, why the fuck are you driving in the city center? You are part of the problem.

  • You kinda forgot about the whole well-functioning society bit there.

  • I have a strong preference for the German and Swiss types, but I think we can all agree that Japan massively fucked up. They took the already shitty American plug and just forgot about the ground.

  • Sounds great, but as with so many of these projects, they sound overly complicated for the masses. Wero is already a thing and it's straight forward. Even that is too complicated for many people, but it's gaining traction at least.

    Anywho, I'm rooting for both!

  • An alternative to PayPal, called WERO is currently in it's rollout process in Germany, Belgium and France. In October the next step will be activated, allowing payments in e-commerce. Later down the road, you'll be able to pay in real shops. Luxembourg and Netherlands are to join in next. More and more banks start to adopt WERO.

I urge everyone to use WERO as much as you can. It's flying a bit under the radar at the moment and this must be a success. Hopefully more EU members will join soon.

  • Sure, fuck America. But also, fuck North Korea, you know?

  • How old are, if I may ask? I haven't made a whole bunch of new friends for quite some time now, but that's fairly normal once you've become a wageslave. I just don't have the mental strength for the upkeep of new friendships.

Magic the Gathering is on the rise again, through which I could at least maintain some meetings with cool colleagues from work. So that's cool I guess.

  • It really isn't. It's way closer to the back of the knee. Let's not twist facts just because we'd like em that way. Let's stay credible, ok?

  • I honestly believe the Fediverse is a good place, exactly because it's slightly less accessible than mainstream stuff. It keeps the absolute scum of the earth out. The internet turned to shit once everyone all of a sudden could access it. It was a fun place to be when you actually had to know your way around a computer. Now the internet essentially is an app on the fucking phone and even the dumbest mouth breather can access it.

  • Yeah, a call. A method of communication that instantly conveys emotions and information, which you can even use while driving a car! How about that ey?

  • It might have to do with how much Americans must work and sit in a car every day I guess. I suppose that sort of workflow makes sense. But then I'll definitely chalk it up to America bad. Thats not a life I'd want to live.

  • Many people don't like to hear about the bad things from their heroes. This is why idolizing someone is so stupid. You can like his music and his act around it, but that's where I stop.

  • What's wrong with giving the spouse a quick call when they're worried about them? Fuck sharing your location, what kind of dumb shit is this? If anything, sharing your location might actually make them paranoid in the first place, as they might try to interpret things in your movement. The hell is wrong with people? I've never heard of this behavior, is this something Americans do?

  • He works so much, he doesn't even have time to find a new jacket. What a cringe lord.

  • 2 and 3 are horrible though. These completely change the meaning of a sentence :(
