  • Ok, ich glaube du interpretierst da mehr hinein als manch anderer, weil das ein Thema ist, das dir offenbar sehr nahe geht. Ich hoffe dass in deinem Umfeld dahingehend nicht Schlimmes passiert ist! Ich gebe dir Recht, man soll wirklich keine Witze über psychische Krankheiten machen.

    Ich selber hab das auch seit Corona am eigenen Leib erfahren dürfen. Es ging zwar nicht um Suizidgedanken, aber ich war die letzten Jahre kaum fähig, noch irgendwas zu leisten. Und es war leider auch so, dass mich kaum einer ernst genommen hat. Zum Glück hat meine Frau mir geholfen, entsprechende Hilfe zu suchen und finden und bin auf dem Weg der Besserung.

    Dennoch habe ich nicht wirklich Mitleid mit diesem Menschen. Viele seiner Ansichten sind aus der Zeit gefallen und haben die Spaltung der Gesellschaft nur weiter vorangetrieben. Ich erfreue mich aber auch nicht daran. Und ich glaube OP erfreut sich auch nicht daran.

  • I think a lot of the tech is responsible for the shitty life. Tech got better until perhaps end of the naughts. After that it's just one bullshit excuse after the other to make devices obsolete as quick as possible. Plus the complete enshittification of the internet.

    I'm just glad that decentralized social media is becoming a thing and the FOSS movement is huge.

  • I am a parent. While I don't look forward to the whole planning part, seeing how my daughter has so much fun with her themed birthday parties is more than enough reward. It's also something she'll remember forever.

    Being a shitty parent is easy, being a good one takes work but it is very rewarding. It also helps that you bring a better person into the world that way.

  • Bullshit. Die Pommes sind grundsätzlich besser als der traurige Mist, der einem in D serviert wird. Fleisch Kroketten, Bitterballen, Frikandellen, Kaassoufflé etc. etc. alles um Welten besser als die Kacke in diesem Land. Auch Schawarma ist nice. Der Käse ist grundsätzlich besser als die nahezu geschmacklosen Fettbrocken aus deutschen Supermärkten. Döner ist einfach nur ausgelutscht. Was die Niederländer nicht können, ist kochen. Stamppot ist ekelhaft.

  • Lucky you! I'm just getting started so I'm not allowed to drink caffeine as it would falsify the effects. The "manual" (Packungsbeilage in German) also says that caffeine can have an adverse effect, making you completely jittery and unable to concentrate. But every person is different and you lucked out I suppose.

  • Ich meinte in Kombination mit dem Raumangebot. Klar hat man in nem Multivan mehr Platz, aber das ding ist auch so aerodynamisch wie ein Backstein. Und ja, eine Limousine, insbesondere mit nem fließenden Heck, ist schon aerodynamischer. Nur passt da irgendwie halt nichts rein.
