  • I think you're missing the point. A brit without VPN has to use his actual digital ID to access pornhub, as in name, address, birthday, etc... With a VPN you can spoof your location and access pornhub without ID. This has nothing to do with masking your IP to browse the web.

    We can anticipate Signal and co. will be part of the high risk category and assume the risk mitigation tech will be aimed towards breaking encryption. Especially since this new agency will be interfacing with Europol. I don't see this as a win or even a draw.

    Kodi habe ich viele Jahre benutzt aber jetzt endgültig aufgegeben. Für mich als Tüftler isses ganz ok. Für die Familie die "just works" erwartet ist es zu instabil. Ich musste alle paar Wochen an den Plugins was fixen.

    Wenn die kleinen Nervensägen ein bisschen Zeichentrick schauen wollen ist es deutlich einfacher schnell mal KiKa einzuschalten, als erst im Browser zu KiKa.de zu wechseln und dann große Verhandlungen zu führen was jetzt geguckt wird.

  • This is clearly a foot in the door situation. A couple of months after this law becomes encorcable, the option will be turned on by default and can optionally be turned off. A couple months later it can only be turned off with an actual ID check. Boom, complete transparency who does what and where on the internet.
