  • I played my cards wrong and took too long to be able to make it to China. Another year or two and I might have been able to make it out, oh well.

  • I would be shocked if we make it a week before ICE agents start getting shot and killed. Maybe 2/3s of the people in Minnesota subreddits are talking about getting guns and castle doctrine, combined with threats that would get removed from here for fedposting, as in literally discussing tactics on how to kill people wearing body armor. I think Minnesota related subreddits were probably better than the median subreddit before this, but seeing the average redditor turn into a r/trueanon poster in the span of a week has been wild.

  • aitelly is AI slop as its name suggests, and its analysis should be treated with the same level of respect given to a magic 8 ball.

  • Just wait until Minnesota nationalizes(?) its farms. Minnesotan SSR 2026 here we come.

  • Honestly, I almost never watch the whole video when people who don't deserve it die.

  • I think Meshcore/Meshtastic can do external internet, but they are not high data rate links.

  • I mean they did just launch an Oreshnik at one of the furthest west parts of UKR in the past few hours. Hard to tell what it was in retaliation for though.

  • Isn't this built into the calculator app anyways?

  • I think the warheads could be more separated than they look, but the angles and distance from the cameras in this strike make them look closer together than the last one? Hard to tell with the footage we have now.

  • This video shows more clear video of the actual warheads as individuals, clearly an Oreshnik strike, MB. The last impacts are still unusual though, could be a slight malfunction. People are also claiming a fire has been started by the impacts.

Is it just me, or does this video also look like there are <10 impacts compared to the 36 impacts in the last strike? Did they have to reduce payload for more range, or is this a different missile?

  • The first 4 warheads looked like single warheads from the previous strike, but the pacing on the last 3(?) was weird. Also, it looks like 6x single warheads rather than 6*6, at least from that video.

  • Claimed "video" of strikes: https://v.redd.it/6o40d5kr77cg1 personally, I think this sounds like multiple conventional missiles impacting, or a series of secondary detonations, rather than the rhythmic impacts of the Oreshnik.

Reports on r/UkraineRussiaReport also suggest an Oreshnik strike, claims of 6 impacts. No proof provided besides "explosions heard"

  • Time to see if Iran has followed the rules or not. Is this the buildup to a test, or are they about to get bombed.

  • I haven't felt like this since early COVID. Events are happening so frequently in the past week.

  • I can't image how many euthanasia jokes that Kev Orkian guy gets. What an unfortunate name.

  • I actually feel annoyed, thinking about the other things I could have spent that time on.

  • I mean not placing manpads on high alert and old school ak47 with tracer rounds, because manana and not provoking is not a better explanation than treason.

WWII era AA could have shot down a dozen helicopters with how low they were flying. Weren't HMGs used by the Vietnamese against helicopters to pretty good effect? A 5ft diameter machine gun trench under a tarp is trivial to disguise or hide, and a 50cal is going to do damage to pretty much anything it hits.

Retvrn to searchlights, flak, and barrage balloons.

  • NixOS giving the option to revert to previous system configs is such a nice tool, its too bad that the barrier to entry for it is just a little too high for people who are new to Linux or I would suggest it for everyone.
