No, it just means that you believe that the artist's intentions are more important than your own interpretation of a given work. It's the other side of a philosophical debate about the meaning of "art" as a whole.
The world's richest, in his view, think too little about their identities as billionaires and what will become of their treasures after death.
Historically, this is the only thing rich people thought about. Usually they would commission some huge public space like a library or a museum or park or something, and that would carry their name long after they died. I wouldn't mind seeing more of that rather than just hearing about how unfathomably rich they are online.
Marineland was a hellhole and I'm glad they're dying, but those whales are caught in a battle between people and there isn't a good way out.
Marineland doesn't have the money to continue to take care of them and the government has refused to help.
Marineland tried to offload them to a center in China, but that would mean they are almost certainly misused as an attraction again, so the government said they can't do that either.
Basically, these whales will either be euthanized, or live with increasingly neglectful care as Marineland continues to bleed money unless someone else with the capability of caring for captive whales is willing to take them.
I would appreciate if you just listened or provided your opinion but not telling me what to do or how to think, please.
Done.
People as a whole really like to get caught up in labels for things because it helps them categorize. It's hardwired into our pattern seeking behavior to try and fit everything into neat little boxes. However sexuality and gender as a whole are pretty messy in practice and not everything fits neatly into those boxes. When someone refers to themselves or others with a label like "trans" all that means is that they are not cis. The exact specifics are unknown until you talk to them more.
None of this would be happening if the government just funded Public Access properly. They shouldn't have to resort to selling stuff just to remain on the air.
Why be so hitched to such an unstable one trick pony
Because people can't seem to grasp the idea that something that worked for their parents and grandparents, might not work for them because the rest of the world is changing
Not suggesting it’s going anywhere, but also questioning why they get to dictate everything.
The B2B economy here is insane. Basically every company here is at most 2 hops away from the oilfield(ie: they are either directly oilpatch, support an oilpatch company, or support one of the companies that supports an oilpatch company)
Albertans also need to smarten up as a whole, and get themselves off the oil diet, when it comes to personal finances and career design.
1000% agree. It's just that every time Alberta has tried to diversify, there has been an oil boom and suddenly everyone with a pulse can make 6 figures if they just drop what they're doing and move to the patch. I don't blame those people for leaving their jobs. People gotta eat.
Alberta is going to end up like the rust belt once the single industry that is propping it up leaves.
The stranglehold the oilpatch has here is insane. The other parties all talk about increasing environmental protection and transitioning to clean energy(like reasonable people) and the cons are the only ones fighting for expansion of the oil industry.
People hear that and think it will translate to mass layoffs and a following economic slump because Alberta has staunchly refused to diversify because oil has been such a cash cow for the last 80 years
