  • Hey new neighbor, you throw one heck of a cookout!

  • He called you losers and suckers and you still enlisted. Not going to shed a salty tear for lives lost in the new middle eastern quagmire.

  • Back in Mother Russia, comrade. Trust.

  • Yet another outrageous wealth transfer... It's almost like a game to them at this point - how many ways can they extort the American taxpayer before they either run out of ideas or we put their heads on spikes?

  • Those countries, and the board of peace itself, have a shelf life of 3 years, which is when Trump will start expecting 1 billion in annual payments per member state to remain in the fascist club.

  • High school girlfriend. I used her for sex. We knew each other from like early grade school and I always had a crush on her, very physically attracted to her.

I took a leap of faith and asked her out, and she said yes.

Turns out, we weren't really compatible, but we were both horny teens with limited supervision. Did not take long at all for us to start experimenting. Eventually, her parents found out we were boinking and split us up, but I realized at the time that I was not heartbroken or sad, I was just disappointed that I wouldn't get to have sex with her anymore, and it was a big wake up moment for me.

I was wrong, of course. We did have sex a few more times once we both became adults, and we both kind of acknowledged that the other person was just a convenient fuck buddy and that we had nothing else in common. I eventually had to break it off with her when I started getting serious with another girl.

I feel like I've matured a lot since then.

  • Put it on polymarket or something, I want to make some money off of such stupidity.

  • Jesus Christ, what the fuck is going on in the UK and the rest of Europe right now with this age verification nanny state shit?

If I ran a website that would be subject to these new regulations, do you know what I would do? I'd fucking IP ban all of the United Kingdom, not comply in advance with this fascist horseshit.

If there's one silver lining about this digital insanity going on right now, it's that governments and corporations are essentially forcing users underground, and the dark web (unindexed websites) has the potential to grow and thrive as a result. We might have an opportunity to take the internet back from those who are trying to tighten their grip around the free and unfettered flow of information.

  • Hot dogs are an insidious foodstuff. You think to yourself "Surely, I have eaten several of these in one sitting casually. If I apply myself, I could eat double or triple the amount!", but in thinking that you have already fallen for their trap.

And so you eat your usual amount with relative ease, but the restaurant dogs are not like the ones you make at home, so they are more filling, but you press on and you eat another, and then another.

Suddenly, you can feel the weight of all of your mistakes in life culminating in that very moment, and you realize that you are nearly full and nowhere close to the measly goal you set for yourself, let alone the minimum amount of hot dogs you are required to consume in order for them to be considered an achievement.

But your pride demands that you continue, despite the loud protests of your body.

Eventually, you tap out, burdened with the shame of knowing exactly how many hot dogs you can eat in one sitting, and also knowing that it was nowhere near what you or anyone else expected you to be able to eat. The infernal sausages have beaten you.

  • Greetings fellow domestic terrorists! 😎

  • What's the point in creating a law that bans Sharia Law when the people who would allegedly institute mandatory observation of Sharia Law would just vote to repeal it and then institute it anyway?

Oh, right, Republicans are fucking idiots and this is scaremongering to drive them to the polls.

  • Now that the U.S. government is involved, they will be getting bailouts like the big banks if they fail.

  • I have never once missed a flight, or even arrived less than 30 minutes early for one. But I have frequent nightmares where I am in the security line at the airport or in a car driving towards the airport and my plane is departing without me.

Even if you manage to do everything right, your brain will still never let you not be anxious about it I guess.

  • He's a super safe pick, that's pretty clear. Safer than Gavin Newsom, imo.

However, I'd like to see what his platform is before I make up my mind about him. Amnesty for the fascists is a complete non-starter for me. Trump and his cronies must be punished. He needs to be clear about that on the campaign trail, and not weasel his way around it like Biden did.

  • Over my dead body. These services can go fuck themselves and die.

  • It obviously doesn't, and people do lie in court all the time in both fiction and reality. The bible, or whatever they happen to use as a stand-in, is just ceremonial for the oath of sworn testimony. The real threat that keeps people from lying is not hellfire and damnation, it's perjury.

  • As evidenced by the dozens of times Trump's star was vandalized, no matter how you deface or destroy it, they'll just replace it with a new one.

I don't think there's any way to get it removed officially other than petitioning the people who manage the walk of fame, and they are all in the same club that the folks who have stars on the sidewalk are in.

  • In the imaginations of every conservative, the brown man from abroad is here to enact sharia law by replacing the white christian population.

Never mind the fact that this kind of strategy would take generations to actually have any noticeable impact on the demographics of America, and we would all be long dead by then.

But they like to think that it's happening right now, because victimhood is the only thing that ever seems to turn conservatives out to the polls.
