  • Hate to break it to you but your local supermarket and big grocery chain uses cow beef for ground beef also. Same stuff as McDonald's. You guys are perpetuating old info (circa 2012) that has to do with XF trim and LFTB.

  • So wrong here. They grind trimmings, the same trimmings that are ground into ground beef that sits in the counters of your local retailer. I sell this shit and can guarantee you the McDonald's system is not my last option, those trimmings all make it into the food supply. Also you can't feed cow parts to food animals ,it's a BSE risk.

  • Not percentage wise though. Their money moves the markets and it'll be them getting out that tanks your index funds. They'll rotate into something else while you wait 8 years to get back to even because AI stocks were 40% of the market and what they run up next is only 5% of your portfolio.

    It's got to be near a top, but news like this makes me feel like they're looking to drop the market for one more final push though.

  • The profits. They know current AI is LLM but the goal is to drastically increase computing power to crunch your data against you and dynamically price your life against you. Ad revenues aren't growing anymore and they need another way to make more money off the massive piles of data they have.

A ton of older ranchers are looking at the prices and just selling with no intent to calve another herd. Not a ton of young people lined up behind them.
