Turned 30 this year. I see my coworker friend almost every day. He’ll hang out with our other friends about once every month. I hang out with my wife every day. Our girlfriend comes over on the weekends. I see other friends online Friday and Saturday usually watching YouTube and drinking, but I hang out with that same friend group locally (we’re global, but a big concentration in this city) about once every two weeks? Big hang outs (7+) are about once a month. Huge hang outs (15+) about twice a year.
It helps being in a walkable, transit oriented city. We just walk to bars/breweries with people.
The whole website had to be vibe coded. I can’t even click the buy now button. Plus they’ve only sold 400 accounts? What the heck? And only 50k upvotes? I remember when I saw l upvotes in the 10k normally on the front page.
They’re really on defaults in America because vanilla flavoring a byproduct of the petroleum industry so it’s very very cheap. In many other countries, “milk” flavor is the default.
It crashed all major gaming store fronts for several minutes. No other game this decade has done that, and theoretically it should get harder each day as systems scale to handle more traffic. The fact that it wasn’t just one store or half of them is incredible to me and shows how anticipated this game was.
I think dems lost because the campaign they ran on was “remember the last 4 years? It’s gonna be the same again! No real change” and it completely distanced themselves from those who are struggling due to inflation, the job market, etc. Trump promised “change” and that’s all the people want. It doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad change, but that’s why Trump won in my opinion. The dems need to push for and talk about “change” in the next midterms or else this country is lost.
I’m lucky enough that when my company started enforcing 5 days a week, they don’t enforce hours. I usually wake up for my first meeting then shower/get ready after, then commute. They give me free public transit, so I take the bus every time too. Plus I can bring my dog in, and I get a free nice coffee (lattes, tea, matcha, etc). Then I’ll leave the office about 3/4pm and WFH if needed.
I grew up in the center of Mississippi. I always called it “the devil is beating his wife”. Idk why it was ever called that because there was no story; it’s just how it is.
As much as the US is fucked and how much we hear about how it’s fucked, it feels a little bittersweet to see other developed countries’ governments fucking up just as bad. The fact that you can’t protest about Palestine is asinine.
If the dogs don’t eat any food, they all have the same food in the bowl (assuming they don’t drop any). So by that logic, they all have the most food. So the first to arrive wins.
The outcome is very clear to anyone who has ever played games before, you’re just being very pedantic for pedantic sake.
I wish I could’ve gone to this one but I’m oncall. The last one was huge, so I hope this beats those number estimates.
