  • Maybe it's time to grab your boom box and hit the TURBO BASS.

  • Waze was founded by former members of Unit 8200, but has been owned by Google since 2013. I do like that it can alert people to the presence of police, but that's about it.

Edit: Gay marriage is pretty cool, though!

  • Still running a 980ti Classified, there's only a handful in the overlap of "Games I want to play" and "Games I can't play" diagram at 1440.

  • New tacqueria in my neighborhood is actually pretty good.

And I'm only finding out about this NOW?!

  • They look like if Salad Fingers had frostbite.

  • Sticker, nail polish, sandpaper, plastic coating, or use a different remote. There are remotes for the Shield that don't have a Netflix button, mine doesn't. That said, I usually use a keyboard and mouse with mine, and if I'm ever using a remote, it's usually my OSMC remote.

You can also replace the stock ROM with LineageOS, if a simple launcher switch isn't enough.

  • The switch is for the neurotoxin emitters.

  • I saw one where someone altered it to make it look like he shit his pants while playing golf.

  • It's to warm people up to the idea that eventually there will just be a screen connected to the network. Any actual computing being done will be hidden behind multiple subscriptions.

  • I've used SMS Import/Export a couple of times, it does what it says. Available in F-Droid.

  • I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.

  • Using Black 3.0?

  • Antarctic penguins.

    And yes.

  • St Peter has Sunday off for religious reasons.

  • What is that holiday Americans celebrate by blowing their fingers off with firecrackers?

You say the day first, the person listening has exactly 0 idea what the hell you're talking about until you get to the month.

This is how conversations work. By the end of the sentence, you know what someone has said.

How long is the pause in your speech between words that you have to worry about losing someone's attention after a single word?

Edit: I should add that I'm Australian though, so the day/month/year thing works for me, and we also say the day first when speaking.

  • Or Cloudflare DNS.

  • With 35 months remaining until the presidential election, it looks like we should see a about a 133% shift further blue.

  • Yeah, I'm pretty certain the whole "board not approving" thing is one of the main things that makes it a hostile takeover?

What I've seen in the past is that the board will disapprove of the takeover, and the other company will acquire enough shares to have enough sway to vote on members of the board. New board members (and old board members once they've made their own deals to get what they want out of whatever restructuring is planned) approve of the takeover bid and basically force the remaining shareholders into accepting the terms.

I'm definitely not the most knowledgeable person about such matters, though, others may have a better explanation.
