  • They're evil because they're innocent and don't know what evil is.

  • From what I've seen, it appears a very vocal minority of .world users cannot tolerate any criticism or viewpoints opposing capitalism/liberialism or NATO.

  • Would that have any result? Couldn't the US, being on the security council, simply veto whatever resolution was put forward?

  • I'd love to read more about this, where'd you get this info? I didn't see it in the articles linked here.

  • I've visited Switzerland and was very impressed by their infrastructure, not just their public transit but what they built way up in the mountains. Lots of little things like dams, waterwheels, gondolas, little railways to small towns. Amazing stuff you'd never see in the United States

I've been to Korea multiple times and every time I come back I dislike the US a bit more. From what I could see, the quality of everything, from food products to infrastructure to safety to interpersonal interactions with strangers, was better in Korea. Oh did I mention healthcare, dental, and vision? I don't have insurance there but all are super affordable and very fast.

The US is inferior in nearly every way and I don't understand why Americans are okay with that. Even our food is largely bad for consumption, like what the hell is wrong with us?

  • I just got back from Korea and they've also installed a ton of EV chargers since my last visit. Two years ago I didn't see a single one, now they have at least 6 level three chargers in every large commercial parking structure and apartment complexes have 6 to 8 level two chargers in their local lot. I was told their government made the chargers a requirement and no parking lot was grandfathered in.

It was pretty cool, they have more than enough chargers for now, but they'll need more.

  • Has he ever publicly stated he didn't do it? Is he allowed to say that in public? I'd be saying that every time I was in the vicinity of the media, but I'm not very cool.

  • Why would tariffs tank crypto?

  • Why would tariffs make crypto tank? Why not the opposite? How'd that person who shorted bitcoin know it would drop? Maybe they didn't, but it was quite the bet if they didn't know.

  • I've been using an app that does this already, it'll give you a route and take into account your vehicle, speed limits, and elevation changes. Apparently if you pay extra it'll factor in live weather conditions too.

I think it works well, it's predicted battery percentages at charge stops are pretty close. It's called a better route planner (ABRP).

  • In theory that could work, but when they all get fired, again, and replaced with military air traffic controllers, Trump will look like he saved the day.

  • I'm sure everyone would love that and would wholeheartedly support that decision. No blowback whatsoever.

  • Seems like a compromise, Trump doesn't win, because he's antithetical to the prize but they've given him a tool to use during the regime change.

  • Her winning seems like a gesture towards Trump. Like "hey, you didn't win but guess what, an enemy of the regime you're considering toppeling won. Maybe you could work with that."

  • Doesn't this play into Trump's threats towards Venezuela's government? The nobel peace prize committee just handed a lot of legitimacy and publicity to someone opposing the same regime Trump is targeting.

  • Those are outdated practices that only occur in families with 70 to 80 year old grandfathers. Once they're gone the gender roles largely disappear.

  • People, please read the article and not these stupid, flame stoking comments.

  • Don't methanotrophs convert methane into CO2?

Also they mention a bacteria that can eat CO2. That sounds more important. I wonder if it's only a cyanobacteria.

  • Okay so don't wait then?
