  • To add on for anyone who is lazy like me, the thing where Google summarizes says California has classified bees as fish under an environmental protection act. According to the first result (Reddit) it's because fish is a catch all term in that law. Instead of listing all the animals they just use fish. Because fish,bees, and the other animals are all invertebrates.

    Now whoever reads this has three Lemmy comments, a reddit thread reference, and an ai overview reference as some solid sources

    If I'm writing about myself (like a journal) then also "I"

    If it's a note to remind myself of something then "you"

    I have written letters to myself in the future and those are always "you"

  • My coworker was watching this video on weird fruit people eat. All of it was AI generated and he didn't notice. He didn't even believe me when I pointed it out.

    Its such a waste of resources to make a stupid video with fake fruit about presumably real fruit for someone to consume it in 30 seconds and go on with their day Thinking they learned something.

  • I agree with this. I have quite a few games I paid 60 dollars for that per hour entertainment makes it insanely cheap. Smaller cheaper indie games are even cheaper per hour.

    It does suck though paying full price for something that will not fulfill that. I bought star wars outlaws or whatever for half price. I knew it wasn't good but man it was worse than I expected. Not with the price to me even though I probably played 10 hours or so. I read some reviews but I should've read more.
