  • I wish that article had more information on how the framed person proved their innocence. It's probably boring but he must have felt like he was taking crazy pills when he was framed.

  • I haven't heard anything about Gaza not online. I work blue collar and am surrounded by low information/conservative people. I can't think of any time any of them mentioned Palestine or Gaza.

    Venezuela has come up far more often. Lots of racism and at my job I'm the minority being white. I've heard absolute crazy shit from my coworkers mouths and sometimes have walked them through their thought process and that usually ends up with them saying "when you put it like that it sounds mean".

    I don't think many of them actually vote though. I know personally its hard for me to make it in time to vote if I don't request off or something.

    All that to say I agree. I know my little work place isn't representative of everyone but it's a common thread of almost everyone we hire.

  • I've grown to view the government as a necessary evil for the time being until society is somehow restructured to something better that doesn't need it. I also dislike the USA government as a citizen specifically.

    However it still blows my mind how quick and seemingly irreparably trump and his team have destroyed our relationships with basically everyone. It's so mind bogglingly short sighted.

  • I wish she had won too. Didn't really like her but she was miles ahead of trump. I don't think you should be torn between the two, I think it was both. She listened to some very bad advice and believed the information she had at hand.

  • Yeah it sucks but it's the truth. I live by Chicago and a shocking amount of people I interact with drop racist or misogynistic comments without a thought around me because I'm a white guy.

    Most comments I've heard about AOC are either who or that she's dumb. I've asked two people why she's dumb and they couldn't give me a solid reason.

    Anyway I guess my point is anecdotally this lines up with a lot of interactions I've had in the last few years
