  • I mean I agree. But I also appreciate people finding the quality comedy on those places for me and sharing it here.

Maybe just start a "SocialMediaGems" sub or something.

  • Speaking VERY GENERALLY and no I dont want to argue about this. 0 to 5 tend to gravitate towards their mother because they want to feel nurtured and protected. 6 to 12 tend to gravitate to their father because they are more likely to encourage behavior that carries an element of risk as they want to try new things or develop skills.

But they also arent stupid and pretty fast pick up on which parent to take what to for the best outcome.

  • Real men drive race cars, unlike most sports it takes 2 balls.

Edit - Oh its a boomer response to a boomer meme. Lighten up.

  • High beam switch.

  • Next time you're in a waiting room or somewhere a bunch of people are just sitting around trying not to bother each other have a look around and see how many people are sitting there actively not closing their mouths to breathe, its going to be zero. I dont mean they dont sigh or take the odd breath either. Then just imagine they are, its horrifying.

  • Butt stuff.

  • I'm the exact same especially the ADHD because it gives me another calculation to do "Building my own looks fun plus buying one is more expensive minus the chance of me getting bored half way through and wasting the initial investment. Hmmmm lets spend a little more and just get the thing premade.

  • Ill die on this hill btw.

When a KFC meal is perfect its one of the best fried chicken experiences on earth. When you get everything fresh, well seasoned, drink is ice cold... Bruh... Problem is it almost never is either the bun is stale, the chips were cold, the chicken was dry, the burger has just way too fucking much mayo... theres always fucking something.

But that one perfect Zinger box you had 18 months ago will bring you back monthly to try again.

  • I dont think wagyu is overrated but I absolutely cannot justify the cost.

  • Just the ability to sit and watch a movie and not be constantly churning all the things I'm ignoring and really should be doing instead would be nice.

  • At least theres an active community for that hobby on Lemmy.

  • Capitalism didnt make me start 10 hobbies to give up once the hyperfixation and dopamine from buying the supplies wore off or make cleaning the house simultaneously an impossible job and impossible to ignore.

I just want to stop pissing me off.

  • For a while there with the "Not a flamethrower" and stuff he did manage to put a veneer of "Wacky" over the way he conducts business.

  • Yeah thats what I meant about "within their niche" They try and buy the shit themselves for their hobby and have a storefront and only rep for products they reasonably stand behind.

Doing the "to the masses" type products dropshipping is usually a losing game because theres always someone more unscrupulous who will do more underhanded shit to be 10c per item cheaper.

  • I know people who have had good success with dropshipping but only within their hobby/interests niche. They freely admit that "This is the cheap chinese one but it gets the job done." And word gets around that they are trustworthy and reliable.

  • Theres a photo of me with a convicted murderer and a photo of me with a convicted child sex offender.

The guy did 10 years for murder and I knew him from the custom car scene, I knew him after he got out, didnt talk about it much. I worked with the child sex offender before he got found out and sent away, that motherfucker is a fight on sight if I ever see him again.

The photos exist out there on the internet somewhere and theres jack shit I can do about it. (Actually the murderer was a pretty chill guy by the time I knew him, that photo doesnt bother me.)

  • Can I take it for a spin before we talk about if I want it or not?

  • Dammit

  • It IS distracting as hell in the gym though. Not from a pervy or objectifying place. Just my brain screaming "Is that woman naked from the waist down!?!" Every time she goes near my eye line. Its weird because when the top matches it doesnt happen.
