  • Homer Simpson can afford a 4 bedroom house with a two car garage, 3 kids, a stay at home wife, a dog and a cat from a single white collor job. And they depict this outcome as if he's sacrificing something or as a punishment.

He's literally living most millennials dream, that's how much they stole from us.

  • I think Michelle Yeoh(Evelyn) is maybe to have ADHD

  • I have no idea what you're talking about, it's always meant that. Anyone who doesn't follow the teachings of Jesus but calls themselves Christian is just lying.

  • Democrat asks Democrat to drop out of race in order to defeat candidate Democratic party members voted for in Democratic Primary.

    Brilliant.

  • Being Conservative and being Christian aren't compatible ideologies. You can follow the teachings of Jesus or be conservative, you can't do both.

  • We still have Lucy Lawless. I heard the kid you played "Young Hercules" turned out to be a nice guy, I wonder what he's been doing lately?

  • Literally the only thing OP has posted or commented about is this lol

  • I think people here are taking OPs question a little bit to seriously and Kevin Smith is 100% a valid answer. The question was about someone you "liked" and don't "like" now. Not, who turned out to be a horrible person.

Kevin Smith hasn't done anything controversial and genuinely seems like a nice man enjoying life and good for him. But, artisticly his movies have fallen off considerably in my opinion and lack any effort/message. Personality wise he's also made a major shift. Previously being more thoughtful and critical of things to now kind of just gone full "happy stoner shill".

As someone who grew up in 90s New Jersey Kevin Smiths and his early work will always hold a special place in my heart but I'll probably never watch anything new he'll ever make the rest of my life.

Patrick (H) Willems actually did a great video essay on basically this exact subject that's worth a watch lol

  • Couldn't agree more. Also, same goes for driving a manual car(to a lesser extent). I feel like a stick shift should almost be mandatory for people with ADHD cause I always felt it made me a safer driver.

  • Minor Internet Influencer uses minor internet influence to raise funds for campaign.

No mention of her parents was made in the article linked.

    1. You're not over her, at least not 100% which is normal. Just because you don't want her back doesn't mean the situation you discribed wouldn't bother you. You don't have to act tough for us, where all literally anonymous strangers that will never meet lol
    2. Work on your health, you'll feel better. Drink some water, stop drinking alcohol for a few month, start exercising, get some sleep. Do it for yourself, you owe it to future you.
    3. Just avoid her for now, get some new hobbies. The whole music thing will still be there when you decide to get back to it down the line.
    4. If you think it's necessary to move to a new city for your mental health or will help in some way. Yeah, maybe. If you like your job and like where you live then stay.

  • I totally agree. I think setting proper expectations and having the right attitude when it comes to online or just modern dating in general is really important. If you think every person might "be the one" or you overthink every situation, your going to have a really bad time.

Just be genuine, honest, and try to have fun, dating is supposed to be fun.

  • You're doing it(dating) "wrong". If you're talking about online dating that is. The whole point is that you exchange a few messages then go on an actual date. Nobody does online dating to find a penpal.

  • I, as a 6'5" man was watching the video linked thinking "oh no, this looks kind of cool but I'll never fit in it". Until the host mentions he's 6'10" LMAO, I looked it up and he sure is. They should really add a disclaimer at the bottom of the videos he's in cause it throws off your prescription of the car lol

  • Still works across the Hudson here in Jersey lol. They put in token based view limit I'm assuming based on what the library/City pays. $2 a view is crazy/bad value, makes me wonder what my library is paying 🤔

  • That article is from 2019 and Kanopy is still around, I guess that's a good sign 🤷🏻 lol

  • Exactly! Also "Kanopy" is a movie/TV Show app that works off your library cards. I'm just pointing out that people sleep on all the things having a library card offers today, it's not just books. Free digital books, audio books, movies, shows, printing papers, activities for kids, classes for adults, some even have 3D printers etc.

  • Go get a Library Card people.

  • 4x4 might be more trouble/overkill and money than it's worth for something that only weighs 600lbs? I think you'd be able to get by with 2x4s (+plywood?)and some deck screwed.
