  • Is that really any different than believing everything you hear on TV or believing everything you read in the newspaper? A lot of what we're taught in school shouldn't be believed either honestly.

  • Sewer cleanout probably. Never seen a cap like this before though, looks kinda flimsy. Maybe get a piece of plywood and cutout/drill for holes that align with the nubs and turn the plywood so you can put force on all four nubs?

  • That's basically what they are doing now. Fun fact, TSMC the company that manufacturers the most advanced chips in the world actually rigs their machinery to explode if they where to ever be invaded by China. Just to be clear, this is a real thing and not a joke.

  • I don't have an opinion either way, I haven't read it. I'm just pointing out that the link they added doesn't seem to lead anywhere.

  • That's way more accurate. I don't feel very represented and I still get taxed.

  • Has legality or bad PR stopped Microsoft in the past? Worst case they pay a fine and everyone continues to use Windows anyways. The only reason Microsoft hasn't done this already is because they haven't figured out a way to profit from it yet.

Basically all of Valves business relies on Windows. Valve saw how Apple operates MacOS and iOS, then saw Microsoft release the Windows Store and put two and two together lol.

  • I think the whole point of Steam OS is to cut down reliance on Microsoft. If Microsoft really wanted to the could cut support to Steam all together.

  • That doesn't look terrible and you could definitely fill those in with come premixed concrete from your local hardware store. Just make sure to chip out any loose bits first.

Mold in basement is pretty common issue though because basements are always cooler from being underground. So investing in a dehumidifier would be as good idea, one that can drain out on it's own ideally so you won't have to empty it every other day.

  • This is wood right? If so, wood floor does expand/shrink a bit depending on temperature. It looks like maybe it wasn't cut to the right size and needs to be shaved down ⅛-¼ inch to fit property.

  • against the U.S. digital sector

Macron specifically says "digital sector". As far as I can tell this has nothing to to with hardware which I'm assuming the stats you listed includes.

  • This is some "battered employee" type shit to say.

  • Go to sleep, futures bleak bro!

  • They sell larger batteries for camping (and power outages etc.). I didn't think it'll do the specific charging your looking for but, that all sounds doable with some extra hardware to regulate the charging.

  • I'm guessing no, they get some sort of financial benefit for being active and that's all they're considering at the moment. They're probably diluting themselves into thinking that they're just there for show and will get "boiled frog" into becoming Nazis.

  • Buy, Borrow, Die strategy.

    1. Buy something that potentially increases in value (real estate, companies, stock etc)
    2. Borrow money against the appreciated value of step 1, this borrowing in not taxable.
    3. Die and leave assets to whoever and never pay tax on the assets.
