  • Started to see this bullshit on the rise with people vibing their way through deciding on the vaccination schedule (or not) for their children as early as the 90s (in my anecdotal experience). I'd just shake my head at younger boomers, people in my generation (Gen X), and even more so at Gen Y, since I seemed to run into so many in Gen Y that bought into the antivax nonsense. Definitely got into arguments with people over it.

It's all so very stupid. My mom (boomer) and my grandmother (Greatest Generation) were both nurses and they were both livid about this new stupid trend back then. It's only gotten stupider since then, apparently, now getting an endorsement from an Idiocracy that seized power.

It's too bad it's so hard to pass down wisdom to younger generations. Of course, conservatism intentionally makes that even harder to do. So many seem hell-bent on learning hard-knock lessons of about a century ago.

  • The sad thing is, for all the rhetoric about "boomers", the generations I'm most concerned about are far younger. The boomers had all kinds of movements against "the man". If there is any measurable movement among the military aged right now, it seems to be pro-fascist or at least fascist-adjacent. Especially if you exclude the women.

  • Maybe some do. If we don't exclude Generation Jones, boomers range in age from 62-80. I doubt too many are going to live to 92-110.

It's easy to forget, but Gen Y is now as old as 45. Someone who is in their 50s is Gen X.

  • And?

    -- PEDONald

  • Who even knows what the real goal is beyond some kind of resource theft / embezzlement / bribes.

With this administration, who knows, but Israel and those under its sway have long wanted to do something like this. Remember John McCain, Mr Maverick-y McMaverick, singing about it?

Would not surprise me to learn that PEDOnald wants to personally enrich his crime wave of a family, though. He is that brazen and disgusting and the CUCKservatives stand by and let him do it. He should be in prison already, even before this second term, but the kind of janky shit he's done just the past year should land him in jail as well as his failsons and his son-in-law, too.

  • I keep getting told by a certain contingent that wE sHoUlD nEvEr bLamE tHe vOtErs. All of the real problems lie with not the Republican Party and the people that vote for them, or the "elevated centrists" or the petulant pretty pony types, but instead, all the problems are caused by the Democratic Party.

  • If this government was being given direct orders to do everything possible to harm America by the likes of Russia, how different would it be from what they are doing right now?

  • Cannot wait to see the Murc's Law take on this about how this is really the fault of the Democratic Party.

  • He was probably told that bombing brown people would give him a huge surge in support. Problem is, the only people that get excited about such things tend to be the supporters he already has...

  • I never understood how Faux was allowed to run wall-to-wall coverage on the horrors of allowing people to buy steak-n-lobster on food stamps (! gasp! clutch pearls!) and most people didn't shut them the fuck off. I also didn't understand the propensity of so many people to police the fuck out of what is in someone's grocery cart if they are on assistance, while they seem to have very little interest in putting any checks at all on the parasitic class/the idle rich.

Then I learned about last place aversion and it makes a lot more sense. Whole lot of people would rather see the Epstein class get even richer than to have someone they think is beneath them jump one rung higher.

  • Where's that little chipmunk Kevin Hassett that loves to pop up in front of the camera and gaslight about fighting "waste, fraud and abuse"?

  • I have read it, and I agree - I recommend it as well. I didn't remember the name of the projects, but that's because it's been a while since I've read it.

  • Or what? He's going to bomb even more?

  • Hm, that seems so very normal.

  • Are these the A Libertarian Walks Into A Bear guys?

  • "The Dow is over 50,000!"

  • But these assholes RAN on this and that's what a whole lot of their base voted for. Are they going to pretend this is some other party's fault?

  • LOCK HER UP!

  • Wait, I thought we were all supposed to forget all about Donvict's pedophilia because he bombed Iran, threatens boots on the ground and/or bringing back the draft, and the cost of oil is skyrocketing...
