  • Qatar is probably creating some interesting demographics. It is vaguely implied that data is restricted to citizens but can't find where that's directly clarified so who knows. You could compare outside the group with Denmark (The overall #1 spot) at 77.9% or the United States at 71.2% and China at 57.7%.

  • There isn't anything else I've found beyond those two that is adaptive quite like those. From what I've seen, you'll have to give up a lot.

Unlike Tdarr though, Unmanic does have a proper open source license. If you take that to it's logical conclusion, any freemium options are a bit optional.

  • The only group I know of trying to quantify womens rights internationally as a whole is here: https://giwps.georgetown.edu/the-index/

Iran ranks 140 / 181 which isn't great, but could be a lot worse. Education is a factor, but Iran loses points elsewhere. The most notable item related to this headline is probably employment percentage which sits at 14.8% (Highest in group is Qatar at 65.5%). For negative impact, the reported stats on domestic violence and related items are worth reading into.

  • Pretty sure it's Hannah Owo.

  • I do the same. Putting the most calorie dense food on the least. It's just an edible spoon at that point.

  • People should be wary of voluntarily fasting for more than a day or two. Can be fine, but can also lead to lasting complications, may be too late by the time you feel bad. Ramadan/etc usually only involve intermittent fasting spread out over a period of time.

  • Celery is probably the best we got and it kinda sucks and I think maybe I'd rather die.

  • You're always allowed to feel what you feel and want you want. This is about what's healthy and what is likely to actually work out for most people.

  • Even if it's a target that's not widely popular, it will be used to push policies that hurt the people of the US more.

That's how we got the patriot act.

  • Be the change you want to see in the world buddy.

The odds on the current Khamenei still being in charge end of the year are trending down... and pretty quickly too. Could just be settling after the official announcement.

  • Maybe he knows more dogs than people in MN.

  • What do you even do about CO2 in that scenario. I can monitor it and collect data, but addressing it feels like a losing battle, especially in winter.

  • Haven't been able to locate the definitive source, but there are several of these out there with Faith and Professor Kutaywa.

Believe it originates somewhere on LinkedIn, but very rare for a LinkedIn meme to escape the platform.

  • I'm actually kind of surprised, usually only see a comment like that stay up if it can be framed as anti-west somehow.

  • You'd think so, but nothing concrete anyone outside the government seems to know about. Secret succession plans are obviously kinda problematic. The ones that are written down seem like they might require people who might also be dead now.

  • Everything is still kind of unverified, but it sounds like they may have got a significant portion of the IRGC leadership too.

The popular voice right now seems to be the crown prince of the former Iranian monarchy.

  • I know there were plans in the work, but I'm not sure Iran ever finalized plans for a successor.

This might be a contender for shortest war ever, it may be difficult to figure out who they're even fighting now.

  • Definitely a little but probably not as much as you'd think.

Humans produce a protein that forcibly limits our muscle growth and its impact is kinda crazy. Gorillas produce a bit of it too, but it's a drastically lower amount. It's called myostatin if I remember right, there is a dog that sometimes has a mutation where they barely produce it too and the differences between a regular one and a mutated one is pretty extreme. Look into 'Bully Whippets' if you want some interesting reads.
