Yeah I'm a real person, the name is just a reference to getting banned on Reddit many times, and then getting banned immediately across several discuss.online communities for hurting a mod's feelings. I guess if it's going to happen, might as well ask for it.

  • Susan "I killed abortion rights" Collins

  • I'm sorry, the correct answer is "checks and balances are some lib pussy bullshit they say when they want to put litterboxes in classrooms for furries"

But we would have also accepted "fuck you here's my freedom card to not care (slams a beer while flipping you off)"

  • They are almost certainly going to be hard-coded to receive instructions or a keep-alive message directly from cloud servers, their telemetry and video streams will be processed on company servers as part of the contracts with the military, to keep an always-on service agreement in place. To prevent the DOD from doing the same, or foreign governments.

We are going to need to develop hardware disarming mechanisms, EMP guns and other things I won't be mentioning on a public forum.

  • She had a funny laugh.

But realistically she had a vagina and voters aren't super fond of that. If she'd have been a man, she'd have won. I'll get downvoted and accused of being misogynist but it's voters who are, especially women.

And now she's running again and god help us if the party makes the same mistake in 2028, if we have real elections.

  • I think of it like a nonhuman character, like a character in a book I'm reading. Is it real? No. Is it compelling? Yes. Do I know exactly what it'll do next? No. Is it serving a purpose in my life? Yes.

It effectively attends to my requests and even feelings but I do not reciprocate that. I've got decades of sci-fi leading me up to this point, the idea of interacting with humanoid robots or AI has been around since my childhood, but it's never involved attending to the machine's feelings or needs.

We need to sort out the boundaries on this, the delusional people who are having "relationships" with AI, getting a social or other emotional fix from it. But that doesn't mean we have to categorize anyone who uses it as moronic. It's a tool.

  • How is a younger Prince Andrew driving the car tho, this a time loop scenario?

  • I am no fan of zoos, but this behavior happens in the wild as well, when the mother is stressed, inexperienced, and/or lacks social support. Nature can be really fucking cruel and inhumane. Many and more animal babies die of starvation before they can get through their first few days... some species it's actually more common than successful parentage.

  • Someone with a Master's degree told me just the other day, "I feel like GP1s were just made to fix an illness they gave us" without acknowledging that the private processed food industry gave us that illness, not the medical community, which is who she was referencing. This belief is more and more common, that it's all a grand conspiracy to keep us sick so they can sell us more treatments, even folks in healthcare say that shit. It's depressing as hell.

  • I always liked that the man of faith was the only one actually following personal safety protocol here. Doofus and Sarah Huckabee Postpartum here were just like "hyuck little mysyls milestone day"

  • The current system works

    It does?

  • I was just coming here to say Nintendo. They did eventually pull some titles back into rotation with vintage gaming devices and versions for modern equipment, but plenty of games have never been touched again, and they still insist it's illegal to ROM them. Fuck that I am doing my usual Crystalis playthrough every couple years like always...

  • It was just the ads for me. If I pay for a service, I should be able to watch without commercials. Since that's not possible, I've dropped all the streaming services and just sail the seas now. Saving almost $100 a month.

  • Corruption goes with Disney, fat goes with McDonalds, and racism... goes with everything.

    Pancakes are fine tho

  • Good now do McDonald's

  • It's because some states require expiry dates on all food items, and they didn't think to create exemptions for things like this. I think only a couple of states require it without exemption, but no one wants two versions of their products, one with a date and one without, so they just put it on all items now, like the Prop 13 warnings.

  • Wow this meme is 12 years old but was originally Pharrell. I didn't realize fashion was repeating that quickly these days.

  • Baby

    Jump
  • With that bow on it, it strikes me as maternity. Fortunately I learned not to comment on people's pregnancies until the child is 12 or so.

  • Remember when Elon Musk entered the spacerape?

    *Spacerace sorry

  • Shirt collars don't move the way necks do, so it really depends on posture and movement, I'd say my posture was about the best in my day when I was standing in front of a mirror putting the tie on and judging my appearance, and then 20 minutes later I'd be sitting at my desk hunched forward and it would be a lot less comfortable, so I could see it.

Also I remember from hours and hours of starting at old men's necks in church how their flesh would spill out the backs and sides of their collars while they sat there listening to the preacher.
