Yeah I'm a real person, the name is just a reference to getting banned on Reddit many times, and then getting banned immediately across several discuss.online communities for hurting a mod's feelings. I guess if it's going to happen, might as well ask for it.

  • Shirt collars don't move the way necks do, so it really depends on posture and movement, I'd say my posture was about the best in my day when I was standing in front of a mirror putting the tie on and judging my appearance, and then 20 minutes later I'd be sitting at my desk hunched forward and it would be a lot less comfortable, so I could see it.

  • We inherited a dual-basket air fryer, a nice Ninja model, and had it for a week before realizing it was worthless compared to the convection oven we already had. Spacing things out enough in the compartments meant there wasn't enough food for even two people (unless you put the same food in both baskets), it took longer to use than the oven, it absolutely stunk up the house, and then it had to be cleaned. Weird product and we got rid of it.

  • Thank you. Here's a good article on Bondi, apparently she once wanted to be a pediatrician, loved kids(!). Then she got pressured into becoming an attorney by her dad. She didn't want to be a prosecutor but got pressured into that (lady isn't good at forging her own path I guess). Got good reviews although they said she was easily bowled over by colleagues. Then Trump molds her into the AG position, where she had trouble getting into the nasty spirit.

    This isn't a sociopath, this is a sad pushover of a person with no backbone who got used until she become a perpetrator. One wonders about her childhood and what abuse she suffered, or why she's got no self esteem at all.

    That said eventually your actions do dictate the kind of person you are - no matter why she is this way, she's a pile of garbage now, yes. Pedophile protector, woman hater, nasty wretch of a human.

  • Around here you have to pay the property taxes for several years in a row, if the actual owners realize after a few years and start again, you're just out the money. Which... seems like a good way to only pay your property taxes once every few years, if you don't mind your property going to hell (lots of folks around here do not, based on the number of burnt out houses).

    Civil forfeiture could actually be improved in some cases, like if you just give up and move along and your house is a nuisance attracting crime and squatters, your neighbors should be able to fix that by petitioning for ownership, instead of having to wait until the house is worthless and likely burned down for anything to be possible.
