  • People naming things in Australia:

    • Townsville
    • Western Australia
    • Shark bay
    • Great Sandy Desert
    • Little Sandy Desert
    • Snowy Mountains

    But you also have wildcards:

    • Tasmania (not actually a mental illness)
    • Monkey Mia (There are no monkeys, and nobody named Mia)
    • Lake disappointment (contains no water)
    • Blue mountains (they are mostly green)
    • King Island (we don't recognise its claim to the throne)
  • Use Rustdesk to remotely work on a computer you own. If you're sure there's not screen recording or keystroke spyware on the work PC, it's pretty untraceable

  • I'm making a browser based game about losing your job and then picking up cans to deposit them at 10c a piece for a living. Like the existential paperclips game.

  • The Nullarbor plain sounds like an Aboriginal word, but it's just Latin and means "No trees" because there are no trees on it.

  • Yeah they tried really hard to force smart things into every nook and cranny of your house.

  • What's her proposal?

  • Also it weirdly falls out of the sky sometimes.

  • The snazzy European uniforms?

  • You're not getting paid top dollar for your people? You should see my people guy, he do you a good deal.

  • Gun

  • This is not at all like America. I'm quite shocked, really.

  • Petro-terrorists.

Anything's ok as long as you ad hyphen terrorist to the person, place or thing.

  • In business, they don't like to talk about negative profits. Those are called losses.

  • Sounds like something a couple of skinnys would say.

  • I listened to Fountainhead audiobook and from the very start, I knew I was going to fucking hate this Roarke fella. What an absolute wanker.

  • It's helpful to always have a sourdough starter on or about your person.

  • Yes

  • When a home invader breaks in, just let him keep the living room, as long as he stays out of the kitchen and bedrooms. It's a reasonable compromise.

  • what to invest in

    Oof, RIP your inheritance.
